Nivel de actividad física en deportistas de Taekwondo de un polideportivo de Villa el Salvador, Lima 2024

Abstract

El trabajo investigativo que se presenta a continuación tuvo como finalidad determinar el nivel de actividad física en deportistas de Taekwondo de un polideportivo de Lima 2024. Tuvo un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo aplicada y con un diseño no experimental, descriptiva simple. La muestra fueron 55 niños en edades de 8 a 14 años que practican Taekwondo en un polideportivo de Villa el Salvador. Para medir la variable de estudio se utilizó el cuestionario de Actividad Física para niños (PAQ-C). Dentro de los resultados encontrados se pudo observar que el nivel de actividad física que predomino en la muestra fue un nivel intenso en un 60% y regular en un 21.82% . El 61.91% de las niñas obtuvieron un nivel intenso de actividad física, así como el 58.82% de los niños. El 25.45% de la muestra total que obtuvieron un nivel intenso tuvieron de 13 a 14 años. El 45.45% de la muestra total que obtuvieron un nivel intenso tenían IMC Normal. Se concluyó que El nivel de actividad física Intenso y regular predomino en los deportistas de Taekwondo.

The purpose of the investigative work presented below was to determine the level of physical activity in Taekwondo athletes from a sports center in Lima 2024. It had a quantitative approach, applied and with a non-experimental, simple descriptive design. The sample was 55 children between the ages of 8 and 14 who practice Taekwondo in a sports center in Villa el Salvador. To measure the study variable, the Physical Activity Questionnaire for Children (PAQ-C) was used. Among the results found, it was observed that the level of physical activity that predominated in the sample was an intense level in 60% and a regular level in 21.82%. 61.91% of girls obtained an intense level of physical activity, as did 58.82% of boys. 25.45% of the total sample who obtained an intense level were between 13 and 14 years old. 45.45% of the total sample who obtained an intense level had Normal BMI. It was concluded that the level of intense and regular physical activity predominated in Taekwondo athletes.
