Conocimientos sobre reanimación cardiopulmonar en neonatos prematuros y actitudes del personal de enfermería de la unidad de terapia intensiva neonatal en un establecimiento de salud de tercer nivel Lima, 2025

Abstract

La presente investigación será desarrollada en el área de cuidados intensivos neonatales, siendo en su mayoría neonatos prematuros atendidos en dicha área. A través de diversas investigaciones se ha comprobado que no todo el personal de enfermería cuenta con los conocimientos adecuados y actitudes que reflejen el total de sus capacidades para atender a dichos neonatos los cuales se consideran como la población más vulnerable ante secuelas, complicaciones y hasta la muerte. Es por ello la iniciativa de presentar el siguiente proyecto de investigación. OBJETIVO: Determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento sobre reanimación cardiopulmonar en neonatos prematuros y la actitud del personal de enfermería de la unidad de terapia intensiva neonatal. MATERIALES Y METODOS: es una investigación cuantitativa de tipo aplicada con diseño observacional, descriptivo, correlacional, prospectivo y trasversal. La muestra será de 80 enfermeros y los instrumentos a usar son una lista de cotejo y un cuestionario con resultado en test de Kuder Richardson de 0.836 para la variable conocimientos y un test de Likert con resultado en Alfa de Cronbach de 0.960 para la variable actitudes.

This research will be conducted in the neonatal intensive care unit, where the majority of premature newborns are cared for. Various investigations have shown that not all nursing staff have adequate knowledge and attitudes that reflect their full capabilities to care for these newborns, who are considered the most vulnerable population to sequelae, complications, and even death. Therefore, the initiative to present the following research project is underway. OBJECTIVE: To determine the relationship between the level of knowledge about cardiopulmonary resuscitation in premature newborns and the attitudes of nursing staff in the neonatal intensive care unit. MATERIALS AND METHODS: This is an applied quantitative research study with an observational, descriptive, correlational, prospective, and cross sectional design. The sample will be 80 nurses and the instruments will be a checklist and a questionnaire with a Kuder Richardson test result of 0.836 for the knowledge variable and a Likert test with a Cronbach's Alpha result of 0.960 for the attitude variable.
