Implementación del Ciclo Deming para optimizar el proceso contable en la empresa ABCD Trading International, Lima 2025

Abstract

Este informe, titulado “Implementación del Ciclo Deming para optimizar el proceso contable en la empresa ABCD Trading International, Lima 2025”, presenta la experiencia vivida al aplicar este modelo dentro del área contable. Durante el trabajo se identificaron diversos problemas que afectaban el desarrollo diario, como errores en los registros, fallas en el cálculo del coeficiente de renta, desorganización con los documentos y una comunicación limitada entre el contador principal y el resto del equipo. Para ello, se implementó el ciclo Deming como una herramienta de mejora. Con el propósito de reducir errores, reforzar los controles internos y lograr que los reportes financieros se manejen de manera más ordenada y oportuna. El informe expone una experiencia laboral basada en mediciones cuantitativas de los resultados logrados en el ámbito contable y en la implementación del modelo de mejora continua en la empresa. Las acciones más importantes incluyeron ordenar los procedimientos, capacitar al personal y crear un sistema digital compartido para manejar los documentos. Estos cambios contribuyeron a disminuir sanciones, corregir fallas y mejorar la comunicación interna. En general, la experiencia demostró que aplicar el Ciclo Deming hace que los procesos contables sean más simples, precisos y sostenibles con el tiempo.

This report, titled “Implementation of the Deming Cycle to Optimize the Accounting Process at ABCD Trading International, Lima 2025”, presents the experience of applying this model within the accounting area. During the work, several problems were identified that affected daily operations, such as errors in records, failures in the calculation of the income coefficient, disorganization of documents, and limited communication between the chief accountant and the rest of the team. To address these issues, the Deming Cycle was implemented as an improvement tool with the purpose of reducing errors, strengthening internal controls, and ensuring that financial reports are managed in a more organized and timely manner. The report presents a work experience based on quantitative measurements of the results achieved in the accounting field and in the implementation of the continuous improvement model within the company. The most important actions included organizing procedures, training the staff, and creating a shared digital system to manage documents. These changes helped reduce penalties, correct mistakes, and improve internal communication. In general, the experience demonstrated that applying the Deming Cycle makes accounting processes simpler, more accurate, and more sustainable over time.
