Bullying y la autoestima en adolescentes de 4to y 5to año de secundaria del colegio público de la ciudad San Vicente - Cañete 2025

Abstract

La presente investigación aborda el bullying como un problema relevante en el contexto educativo, debido a las consecuencias negativas que genera en el bienestar emocional de los adolescentes, especialmente en su autoestima. El estudio tiene como objetivo “determinar la relación que existe entre el bullying y la autoestima en adolescentes de 4to y 5to año de secundaria del colegio público de la ciudad San Vicente - Cañete 2025”. La metodología empleada fue de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo aplicada, con método hipotético-deductivo y un diseño no experimental, transversal y correlacional. La población estuvo conformada por 85 estudiantes de 4.º y 5.º año de secundaria, a quienes se les aplicaron cuestionarios estructurados para medir las variables bullying y autoestima. Ambos instrumentos fueron validados mediante juicio de expertos y presentaron adecuados niveles de confiabilidad según el coeficiente alfa de Cronbach.

This research addresses bullying as a significant problem in the educational context due to the negative consequences it has on the emotional well-being of adolescents, especially their self esteem. The study aimed “to determine the relationship between bullying and self-esteem in 4th and 5th year secondary school students at the public school in the city of San Vicente - Cañete 2025”. The methodology used was quantitative, applied, with a hypothetical-deductive method and a non-experimental, cross-sectional and correlational design. The population consisted of 85 students in the 4th and 5th years of secondary school, who were given structured questionnaires to measure the variables of bullying and self-esteem. Both instruments were validated by expert judgement and presented adequate levels of reliability according to Cronbach's alpha coefficient.
