Musicoterapia y su relación con la ansiedad en pacientes con tratamiento de hemodiálisis en el hospital III Daniel Alcides Carrión Tacna, 2025

Abstract

El tratamiento de Hemodiálisis repercute en la salud mental de los pacientes ya que aumenta su ansiedad por la enfermedad (ERC): los medicamentos que tomarán, si en la diálisis sufrirán de hipo o hipertensión, dolor por los calambres, el tipo de profesionales que los atenderán; es necesario ayudarlos a gestionar sus emociones, esto puede suceder con la musicoterapia ya que emite ondas sonoras y activa la serotonina, hormona de la felicidad, mejorando la calidad de vida del paciente. La musicoterapia crea el arte de cantar, bailar, tocar un instrumento musical. Los enfermeros debemos atrevernos a usar la musicoterapia no sólo en Hemodiálisis, sino también en pediatría, oncología, geriatría, u otros servicios de la salud. Hay que ver al paciente de forma holística, no sólo lo físico sino también mente y espíritu.

Hemodialysis treatment impacts patients' mental health as it increases their anxiety about the disease (CKD): the medications they will take, whether they will suffer from hypotension or hypertension during dialysis, pain from cramps, and the type of professionals who will care for them. It is necessary to help them manage their emotions, which can be achieved with music therapy, since it emits sound waves and activates serotonin, the happiness hormone, improving the patient's quality of life. Music therapy creates the art of singing, dancing, and playing a musical instrument. Nurses must dare to use music therapy not only in hemodialysis, but also in pediatrics, oncology, geriatrics, and other healthcare services. We must view the patient holistically, not only physically but also mentally and spiritually.
