Objetivo: “Determinar la relación que existe entre sobrecarga y calidad de vida del cuidador de pacientes con esquizofrenia que acuden al hospital regional, Chincha ,2024”. Metodología: Se empleará método hipotético-deductivo, de enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental de corte transversal y de alcance correlacional. La población: estará conformada por 60 cuidadores de pacientes diagnosticados con esquizofrenia atendidos en el consultorio externo de psiquiatría del Hospital San José de Chincha. Para evaluar la variable “Sobrecarga” se utilizará el cuestionario el cual fue adaptado por Cama en el 2018, confiable mediante alfa de Cronbach de 0,91 y para evaluar la variable “Calidad de vida” se empleará el cuestionario que fue adaptado según Fernández en el 2022, se validó mediante el método de juicio de expertos alcanzando un 95 %, indicando que estos instrumentos son validados para su aplicación. Luego los resultados se introducirán en una base de datos del software Excel, que permitirá verificar que los datos, seguidamente se exportará la información al software estadístico SPSS V.26. Finalmente, se llevará a cabo la prueba de hipótesis para el análisis inferencial que permitirá la relación entre la sobrecarga y la calidad de vida del cuidador.
Resumen
Objective: “Determine the relationship between overload and quality of life of the caregiver of patients with schizophrenia who attend the regional hospital, 2024.” Methodology: Hypothetical-deductive method will be used, with a quantitative approach, non-experimental cross-sectional design and correlational scope. The population: will be made up of 60 caregivers of patients diagnosed with schizophrenia treated in the outpatient psychiatry clinic of the San José de Chincha Hospital. To evaluate the “Overload” variable, the questionnaire will be used, which was adapted by Cama in 2018, reliable through Cronbach's alpha of 0.91, and to evaluate the “Quality of life” variable, the questionnaire that was adapted according to Fernández in 2022, it was validated through the expert judgment method, reaching 95%, indicating that these instruments are validated for their application. Then the results will be entered into an Excel software database, which will allow the data to be verified, then the information will be exported to the SPSS V.26 statistical software. Finally, the hypothesis test will be carried out for the inferential analysis that will allow the relationship between overload and the quality of life of the caregiver.
