Estrés laboral y calidad de vida en el personal de enfermería de la central de esterilización de un hospital de nivel III – 2 de Lima, 2025

Abstract

Introducción: La labor de enfermería, debido a su naturaleza, requiere enfrentarse constantemente a situaciones que demandan un alto nivel emocional, físico y mental, lo cual puede conducir a la aparición de niveles considerables de estrés. Si este estrés no es gestionado de manera adecuada, Puede ocasionar impactos adversos en la salud mental y física en los profesionales, además de influir en su rendimiento laboral y en su bienestar general. Objetivo: Determinar la relación del estrés laboral como se relaciona con la calidad de vida del personal de enfermería que trabaja en la Central de Esterilización de un hospital de nivel III – 2 en Lima, en el año 2025.Metodología: Se empleará un enfoque cuantitativo basado en un método hipotético-deductivo, llevado a cabo en un estudio de investigación aplicada, con un diseño no experimental, de tipo transversal y correlacional. La población estará integrada por 100 profesionales de enfermería que laboran en la Central de Esterilización del mencionado hospital. La recolección de datos se realizará mediante encuestas y observaciones, utilizando como instrumentos dos cuestionarios y una guía de observación, respectivamente. Estos instrumentos se basarán en trabajos previos de Castillo Pisfil (2020) y López (2018). La validez del primer instrumento fue establecida mediante juicio de expertos, logrando un valor de 0.37, mientras que la validez del segundo fue de 0.81. La confiabilidad de ambos instrumentos fue verificada mediante una prueba piloto utilizando el coeficiente de correlación de Pearson y el alfa de Cronbach, obteniendo valores de 0.35 y 0.99, respectivamente. Los datos serán analizados con el software estadístico SPSS, permitiendo presentar los resultados en gráficos y tablas que muestren las distintas dimensiones de las variables estudiadas. Para analizar la relación entre las variables, se aplicará la prueba de Spearman.

Introduction: Nursing work, due to its nature, requires constantly facing situations that demand a high emotional, physical and mental level, which can lead to the appearance of considerable levels of stress. If this stress is not managed appropriately, it can cause adverse impacts on the mental and physical health of professionals, in addition to influencing their job performance and general well-being. Objective: To determine the relationship between work-related stress and the quality of life of nursing staff working in the Sterilization Center of a level III - 2 hospital in Lima, in the year 2025. Methodology: A quantitative approach based on a hypothetical-deductive method will be used, carried out in an applied research study, with a non-experimental, cross-sectional and correlational design. The population will be made up of 100 Nursing professionals working in the Sterilization Center of the aforementioned hospital. Data collection will be conducted through surveys and observations, using two questionnaires and an observation guide, respectively. These instruments will be based on previous work by Castillo Pisfil (2020) and López (2018). The validity of the first instrument was established through expert judgment, achieving a value of 0.37, while the validity of the second was 0.81. The reliability of both instruments was verified through a pilot test using Pearson's correlation coefficient and Cronbach's alpha, obtaining values of 0.35 and 0.99, respectively. The data will be analyzed using SPSS statistical software, allowing the results to be presented in graphs and tables showing the different dimensions of the variables studied. Spearman's test will be applied to analyze the relationship between the variables.
