Programa educativo para incrementar el conocimiento del embarazo en adolescentes de la institución educativa José Carlos Mariátegui, El Agustino, 2025

Abstract

El estudio se realizó con el fin de determinar la eficiencia del programa educativo para incrementar el conocimiento sobre embarazo en adolescentes en la Institución Educativa José Carlos Mariátegui, El Agustino, 2025. Para ello, se desarrolló un diseño cuantitativo, explicativo, aplicado y preexperimental, donde se administró el cuestionario de conocimientos sobre embarazo adolescente a 214 estudiantes. Entre los hallazgos se encontró que la mayoría de adolescentes tenía entre 16 y 17 años (68.7%), respecto al grado y sección, la distribución fue equitativa entre las diferentes aulas de 4to y 5to año de secundaria, con porcentajes que oscilaron entre 7.0% y 7.5%, predominó la persona con quien vivía, el grupo que vivía con mamá, papá y hermanos (24.3%). Antes de iniciar el programa, la mayoría (70.6%) tenía un nivel de conocimiento medio, casi el 29% se encontraba en un nivel bajo, y solo el 4.7% se encontraba en un nivel alto. Sin embargo, tras el programa, se observó un cambio notable: casi la mitad (48,1%) logró alcanzar un nivel alto, casi la mitad (49,1%) se mantuvo en el nivel medio y solo el 2,8% se mantuvo bajo. En resumen, el porcentaje de adolescentes con alto nivel de conocimiento aumentó significativamente, pasando de tan solo el 0,5% al 48,1%. Además, la prueba de Wilcoxon arrojó un valor de Z = -11,158 con una p = 0,000, lo que confirma que el programa educativo tuvo un impacto positivo y estadísticamente significativo en el aumento del nivel de conocimiento.

The study was carried out in order to determine the efficiency of the educational program to increase knowledge of pregnancy in adolescents at the José Carlos Mariátegui Educational Institution, El Agustino, 2025. For this, a quantitative method was developed, of explanatory level, applied type and pre-experimental design, where the adolescent pregnancy knowledge questionnaire was administered to 214 students. Among the findings, it was found that the majority of adolescents were between 16 and 17 years old (68.7%), regarding the grade and section, the distribution was equitable between the different classrooms of 4th and 5th year of secondary school, with percentages that ranged between 7.0% and 7.5%, the person with whom they lived, the group that lived with mom, dad and siblings predominated (24.3%). Before starting the educational program, the majority of participants (70.6%) had an average level of knowledge, almost 29% were at a low level, and only 4.7% were at a high level. However, after implementing the program, a marked change was observed: almost half (48.1%) managed to rise to a high level, almost half (49.1%) remained at the average level, and only 2.8% remained at a low level. In summary, the percentage of adolescents with high knowledge increased significantly, from just 0.5% to 48.1%. Furthermore, the Wilcoxon test yielded a Z value of -11.158 with a p = 0.000, confirming that the educational program had a positive and statistically significant impact on the increase in knowledge.
