Risk factors are conditions that increase the likelihood of developing health disorders, while sleep quality is related to restorative and continuous rest that promotes physical and mental well-being. In caregivers of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), the ongoing demands of caregiving may negatively affect rest and overall health. The objective of the study was to determine the association between risk factors and sleep quality among caregivers at a Special Basic Education Center in Surco, 2026. The research employed a quantitative approach, a non-experimental design, an associative level, and a cross-sectional framework. The population consisted of 80 caregivers, and the sample included 33 participants who met the selection criteria. For data collection, a self-developed risk factors questionnaire and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index were used. The results showed a statistically significant association between the variables of gender (p=0.024) and having health insurance (p=0.040) with sleep quality. No significant association was found between age, kinship, family support, institutional assistance, financial support, and ASD severity level (p>0.05). It was concluded that some risk factors were significantly associated with sleep quality, highlighting the need to strengthen strategies aimed at promoting the well-being and overall health of caregivers.
