El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre las características de la responsabilidad social universitaria (RSU) y las actitudes hacia la investigación en estudiantes de enfermería de una universidad privada en Ica durante el año 2024. El diseño fue descriptivo, transversal, correlacional y no experimental. La muestra incluyó a 90 estudiantes, a quienes se les aplicó un cuestionario, y los datos se analizaron con el software SPSS. Los resultados mostraron que el 57.8% de los estudiantes presentaron un nivel regular de RSU. En las dimensiones, el 64.4% tuvo un nivel regular en “conciencia”, el 52.2% en “compromiso”, el 61.1% en “ciudadanía” y el 51.1% en “cambio”. En cuanto a las actitudes hacia la investigación, el 83.3% evidenció buenas actitudes. Al analizar las dimensiones, el 85.6% mostró buenas actitudes en “intereses”, el 81.1% en “vocación” y el 58.9% en “valoración”. El análisis estadístico reveló una relación significativa entre RSU y actitudes hacia la investigación (chi²=43.207; p=0.000). Asimismo, se obtuvo una correlación positiva y significativa con un coeficiente de Spearman Rho=0.652 (p=0.000), lo que indica una relación directa y de buen grado. En conclusión, se afirma que existe una correlación positiva entre el nivel de responsabilidad social universitaria y las actitudes hacia la investigación en los estudiantes de enfermería, destacando la importancia de fortalecer la RSU como factor que influye favorablemente en el interés y compromiso investigativo del estudiantado.
Resumen
The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between the characteristics of university social responsibility (USR) and attitudes toward research among nursing students at a private university in Ica during the year 2024. The study employed a descriptive, cross-sectional, correlational, and non-experimental design. The sample consisted of 90 students who completed a questionnaire, and the data were analyzed using SPSS software. The results showed that 57.8% of the students demonstrated a moderate level of USR. Regarding its dimensions, 64.4% scored at a moderate level in "awareness," 52.2% in "commitment," 61.1% in "citizenship," and 51.1% in "change." Concerning attitudes toward research, 83.3% of students exhibited positive attitudes. When analyzing the dimensions, 85.6% showed positive attitudes in "interest," 81.1% in "vocation," and 58.9% in "appreciation." Statistical analysis revealed a significant relationship between USR and research attitudes (chi²=43.207; p=0.000). Additionally, a positive and significant correlation was found, with a Spearman’s Rho coefficient of 0.652 (p=0.000), indicating a direct and strong relationship. In conclusion, there is a positive correlation between the level of university social responsibility and students’ attitudes toward research, highlighting the importance of strengthening USR as a factor that positively influences students’ interest and commitment to research.
