This retrospective descriptive study will determine the presence of dehiscence and fenestration in lower anterior teeth in patients with a Class I skeletal relationship using Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT). Measurements were taken from 58 CBCT scans to analyze the presence of these bone defects on both the buccal and lingual surfaces, from the cementoenamel junction to the alveolar crest. The study included CBCT scans showing permanent dentition, absence of missing or extracted teeth, impacted or supernumerary teeth, and closed root apices of all permanent teeth except for the third molars. The CBCT scans were high-resolution. A data collection form was used to classify the scans taken at the university according to sex and age. The Witts analysis was used as the reference standard. The results showed that 69% of the scans were from females and 31% from males, with different ranges of Ages were also a factor, and dehiscence was present on the lingual surface in 56.9% and the vestibular surface in 54.7%. Fenestration was not found in this study sample. These defects were more frequent in women (57.5%) and in individuals over 30 years of age.
