The overall objective of the research was to analyze the relationship between the work environment and work-related stress among healthcare workers in the province of Andahuaylas in 2025. The methodology used was hypothetical deductive, quantitative, basic, nonexperimental, cross-sectional analysis, with a total of 122 participants. This information was supported by data from the Peruvian National Health Personnel Registry (INFORHUS). Two instruments were applied, namely the CL-SPC Work Climate Scale and the Work Stress Scale, both of which were duly standardized and validated. The descriptive results show that the distribution of the Work Climate variable is high and significant, with 75% in the middle levels, while there is an absolute 0 in the unfavorable range. In relation to the Work Stress variable, 43% of participants had low levels of stress, while only 1% had high levels of stress. As inferential results, it is observed that Spearman's Rho statistic used between Work Stress and Work Climate shows a significance level of 0.04 < 0.05 and a correlation coefficient of -0.186, indicating that there is a significant negative relationship and a very low range; therefore, the general hypothesis is accepted. It is concluded that if the work climate in which the target population works is adequate, work stress would decrease and vice versa.
