Influencia de la aplicación de un taller educativo de salud sexual y reproductiva ‘’Sexualidad Responsable y Segura’’, en el nivel de conocimiento en estudiantes del instituto de educación superior de la ciudad de Huarmey 2024

Abstract

El presente estudio fue planteado con el objetivo: Determinar la influencia de la aplicación de un taller educativo de salud sexual y reproductiva ‘’Sexualidad responsable y segura”, en el nivel de conocimiento en estudiantes del Instituto de Educación Superior Tecnológico de la ciudad de Huarmey, en el 2024. Material y métodos. El estudio es de tipo cuasiexperimental, prospectivo, longitudinal, en donde se obtuvo una muestra de 50 estudiantes matriculados de la carrera técnica de enfermería del Instituto de Educación Superior Tecnológico de Huarmey. La técnica que se utilizó fue la encuesta y el instrumento fue conformado por un cuestionario. Los resultados a las que se llegó son: Dentro de las características sociodemográficas se encontró que el promedio de edad fue 20 años, contando con mayor población femenina de 41 participantes y 9 de sexo masculino; 26 pertenecen a religión católica. En referencia al pre test sobre nivel de conocimientos de salud sexual, se obtuvo que 68% de los estudiantes presentaba un nivel regular. En cuanto al nivel de conocimiento en salud reproductiva se encontró que 58% de los estudiantes presentaba nivel. En relación con el post test se encontró que el 100% de la población tuvieron un nivel alto de conocimiento sobre salud sexual y de igual manera se obtuvo este resultado en el nivel alto en conocimiento de salud reproductiva. Por lo que se concluye que : La aplicación de un taller educativo de salud sexual y reproductiva ‘’Sexualidad responsable y segura’’, influye de manera significativa en el nivel de conocimiento en estudiantes del Instituto de Educación Superior Tecnológico de la ciudad de Huarmey en el 2024.

The present study was proposed with the objective: Determine the influence of the application of an educational workshop on sexual and reproductive health "Responsible and safe sexuality", on the level of knowledge in students of the Technological Higher Education Institute of the city of Huarmey, in 2024. Material and methods. The study is quasi-experimental, prospective, longitudinal, where a sample of 50 students enrolled in the technical nursing career at the Institute of Higher Technological Education of Huarmey was obtained. The technique used was the survey and the instrument was made up of a questionnaire. The results reached are: Within the sociodemographic characteristics, it was found that the average age was 20 years, with a larger female population of 41 participants and 9 males; 26 belong to the Catholic religion. In reference to the pre-test on the level of sexual health knowledge, it was found that 68% of the students had a regular level. Regarding the level of knowledge in reproductive health, it was found that 58% of the students had a level. In relation to the post test, it was found that 100% of the population had a high level of knowledge about sexual health and in the same way this result was obtained in the high level of knowledge of reproductive health. Therefore, it is concluded that: The application of an educational workshop on sexual and reproductive health ''Responsible and safe sexuality'' significantly influences the level of knowledge in students of the Technological Higher Education Institute of the city of Huarmey in 2024.
