Condición física y funcionabilidad de rodilla en deportistas que asisten al centro de fisioterapia E`MANUEL, Lima – 2025

Abstract

Objetivo: “Determinar la relación entre la condición física y la funcionabilidad de rodilla en deportistas que asisten al centro de fisioterapia E`MANUEL, Lima - 2025”. Metodología: Se utilizó instrumentos validados como Test Sit to Stand para medir la condición física y cuestionario de KOOS para la segunda variable. Estudio hipotético - deductivo, de enfoque cuantitativo, aplicada y diseño no experimental. Contó con una muestra de 87 deportistas que asisten al centro de fisioterapia E`MANUEL. Resultados: La edad media fue 30,57 años, predomino el sexo masculino (67,8%), en cuanto a la condición física sobresalió excelente (55,2%), buena (37,9%) y 2,3% regular. Por otro lado, el nivel de funcionabilidad de rodilla, resalto bueno (57,5%) excelente (31,0%), regular (9,2%) y malo (2,3%). Conclusiones: existe relación estadísticamente significativa entre condición física y funcionabilidad de rodilla en deportistas que asisten al centro de fisioterapia E`MANUEL, Lima - 2025.

Objective: To determine the relationship between physical fitness and knee function in athletes attending the E`MANUEL physiotherapy center in Lima, Peru, in 2025. Methodology: Validated instruments such as the Sit-to-Stand Test were used to measure physical fitness, and the KOOS questionnaire was used to measure knee function. This was a hypothetical deductive, quantitative, applied, and non-experimental study. The sample consisted of 87 athletes attending the E`MANUEL physiotherapy center. Results: The mean age was 30.57 years, with a predominance of males (67.8%). Regarding physical fitness, the following categories were most common: excellent (55.2%), good (37.9%), and fair (2.3%). Knee function was also most common: good (57.5%), excellent (31.0%), fair (9.2%), and poor (2.3%). Conclusions: There is a statistically significant relationship between physical condition and knee functionality in athletes attending the E`MANUEL physiotherapy center, Lima - 2025.
