Vínculo humano-mascota y regulación emocional en niños de un hospital de Villa el Salvador, servicio de pediatría, Villa El Salvador, 2025

Abstract

Introducción: La interacción con los animales puede ayudar a los niños a autorregular sus emociones, y mejorar el control cognitivo a través de la capacidad de las mascotas para responder al comportamiento humano relacionado con el apego del niño cuyo propósito es promover un vínculo positivo y seguro entre humanos y mascotas, lo cual puede, repercutir satisfactoriamente en el desarrollo psicológico del niño. Objetivos: Determinar la relación que existe entre el vínculo humano-mascota y la regulación emocional en niños en el Servicio de Pediatría. Métodos: hipotético deductivo el enfoque de la investigación será cuantitativo, tipo aplicada, diseño observacional, correlacional, descriptivo y transversal. La población de estudio estará conformada por 372 niños y niñas del servicio de hospitalización del hospital de villa el salvador. Las técnicas del estudio será la encuesta y la observación, teniendo como instrumentos para medir la primera variable un Cuestionario del vínculo humano-mascota y para medir la segunda variable una Lista de cotejo de regulación emocional. Para el análisis de datos se usará el Programa Microsoft Excel 2021 y SPSS versión 27.0, para calcular los resultados tanto descriptivos e inferenciales en tablas y/o gráficos estadísticos; y se aplicará las pruebas paramétricas, no paramétrica para la relación entre variables.

Introduction: Interaction with animals can help children self-regulate their emotions and improve cognitive control through the ability of pets to respond to human behavior related to the child's attachment in order to promote a positive and safe bond between humans and their pets, which can subsequently have a satisfactory impact on the child's psychological development. Objectives: To determine the relationship between the human-pet bond and emotional regulation in children in the Pediatric Service. Methods: Hypothetical deductive, the research approach will be quantitative, applied type, observational, correlational, descriptive and cross-sectional design. The study population will be made up of 372 boys and girls. The study techniques will be the survey and observation, having as instruments to measure the first variable a Human-Pet Bond Questionnaire and to measure the second variable an Emotional Regulation Checklist. For data analysis, Microsoft Excel 2021 and SPSS version 27.0 will be used to calculate both descriptive and inferential results in statistical tables and/or graphs; and parametric and non-parametric tests will be applied for the relationship between variables.
