Clima social familiar y habilidades sociales en adolescentes de una organización no gubernamental de Jicamarca, 2025

Abstract

El estudio tuvo como objetivo el determinar la relación entre clima social familiar y habilidades sociales en 150 adolescentes de todos los años de secundaria con edades de entre 12 a 17 años de una ONG en Jicamarca desarrollando un método de investigación de tipo hipotéticodeductivo, con un enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental y transversal, y de alcance correlacional. Se aplicaron la Escala de Clima Social Familiar y la Escala de Habilidades Sociales de Goldstein. Los hallazgos evidenciaron una relación positiva, directa y de intensidad moderada (rho=0.68; p=0.00<0.05) Asimismo, el Clima social familiar se correlacionó con la Autoexpresión en situaciones sociales en intensidad débil positiva significativa (rho=0.35; p=0.00<0.05), con la Defensa de los propios derechos como consumidor en intensidad moderada positiva significativa (rho=0.75; p=0.00<0.05), con la Expresión de enfado o disconformidad en intensidad moderada positiva significativa (rho=0.43; p=0.00<0.05), con el Decir no y cortar interacciones en intensidad moderada positiva significativa (rho=0.42; p=0.00<0.05), con Hacer peticiones en intensidad moderada positiva significativa (rho=0.45; p=0.00<0.05) y con Iniciación de interacciones positivas con el sexo opuesto en intensidad moderada positiva significativa (rho=0.45; p=0.00<0.05). Se concluye que a mayor nivel de Clima Social Familiar mejor desarrollo de las Habilidades Sociales.

The study aimed to determine the relationship between family social climate and social skills in 150 adolescents from all years of secondary school, aged between 12 and 17, from an NGO in Jicamarca. The research followed a hypothetical-deductive method, with a quantitative approach, a non-experimental and cross-sectional design, and a correlational scope. The Family Social Climate Scale and Goldstein’s Social Skills Scale were administered. The findings revealed a positive, direct, and moderate relationship (rho = 0.68; p = 0.00 < 0.05). Likewise, family social climate was correlated with self-expression in social situations at a weak but significant positive level (rho = 0.35; p = 0.00 < 0.05); with the defense of one’s consumer rights at a moderate and significant positive level (rho = 0.75; p = 0.00 < 0.05); with the expression of anger or disagreement at a moderate and significant positive level (rho = 0.43; p = 0.00 < 0.05); with saying no and ending interactions at a moderate and significant positive level (rho = 0.42; p = 0.00 < 0.05); with making requests at a moderate and significant positive level (rho = 0.45; p = 0.00 < 0.05); and with the initiation of positive interactions with the opposite sex at a moderate and significant positive level (rho = 0.45; p = 0.00 < 0.05). It is concluded that higher levels of family social climate are associated with better development of social skills.
