Conocimiento sobre la donación de sangre y la actitud de los estudiantes de Enfermería del VIII ciclo de la Universidad Norbert Wiener, 2024

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como Objetivo: Determinar el conocimiento sobre la donación de sangre y su relación con la actitud de los estudiantes de enfermería del VIII ciclo de la Universidad Norbert Wiener, 2024. Material y método: La metodología fue de tipo básico, enfoque cuantitativo, y de diseño no experimental correlacional de corte transversal; por otro lado, la muestra estuvo conformada por 110 estudiantes de Enfermería del VIII ciclo de la Universidad Norbert Wiener, muestreo probabilístico aleatorio simple. A su vez, se utilizó la técnica de la encuesta y, como instrumento, el cuestionario para ambas variables. Resultados: Se obtuvo un índice de correlación r = - 0,050 (p = 0,000) entre conocimiento y actitud. Del mismo modo, se obtuvo un r = 0,012 (p = 0,000) entre actitud y conocimiento en su dimensión física; un r = -0,087 (p = 0,000) entre actitud y conocimiento en su dimensión institucional y un r = 0,092 entre actitud y conocimiento en su dimensión normativa. Conclusión: Predominó el nivel de correlación negativa muy alta, rechazándose la hipótesis nula y optándose por la alterna.

The objective of this research work was: To determine the knowledge about blood donation and its relationship with the attitude of nursing students of the VIII cycle of Norbert Wiener University, 2024. Material and method: The methodology was basic, quantitative approach, and non experimental correlational cross-sectional design; on the other hand, the sample consisted of 110 Nursing students from the VIII cycle of Norbert Wiener University, simple random probabilistic sampling. In turn, the survey technique was used and, as an instrument, the questionnaire for both variables. Results: A rating index r = - 0.050 (p = 0.000) was obtained between knowledge and attitude. Similarly, an r = 0.012 (p = 0.000) was obtained between attitude and knowledge in its physical dimension; an r = -0.087 (p = 0.000) between attitude and knowledge in its institutional dimension and an r = 0.092 between attitude and knowledge in its normative dimension. Conclusion: The very high level of negative comprehension predominated, rejecting the null hypothesis and opting for the alternative.
