Conocimientos sobre lactancia materna exclusivo y la actitud frente al amamantamiento de su recién nacido en madres atendidos en el centro salud de Mirones Bajo 2024

Abstract

La presente investigación titulada: “Conocimientos sobre lactancia materna exclusiva y la actitud frente al amamantamiento de su recién nacido en madres atendidas en el Centro de Salud de Mirones Bajo, 2024” tiene como objetivo principal determinar la relación entre los conocimientos sobre lactancia materna exclusiva y la actitud de las madres frente al amamantamiento. Material y Método. La investigación es de tipo básico, con enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental y corte transversal; la población estará conformada por 385 madres que acuden al Centro de Salud Mirones Bajo durante 2024, seleccionándose una muestra representativa de 193 madres mediante un muestreo aleatorio simple. Se utilizarán dos instrumentos validados: un cuestionario para evaluar el conocimiento sobre lactancia materna exclusiva, basado en dimensiones como conceptos, beneficios y técnicas; y otro para medir las actitudes, estructurado en componentes cognitivo, afectivo y conductual. Los datos serán recolectados mediante encuestas aplicadas directamente a las madres y procesados con software estadístico (SPSS) para análisis descriptivo e inferencial. Se espera encontrar una evaluación significativa entre el nivel de conocimiento y la actitud frente al amamantamiento, contribuyendo a identificar factores clave que puedan mejorar la práctica de lactancia materna exclusiva. Los resultados servirán como base para diseñar estrategias educativas y de promoción de la salud en el Centro de Salud Mirones Bajo y su comunidad.

The present research entitled: "Knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding and attitude towards breastfeeding their newborn in mothers attended at the Mirones Bajo Health Center, 2024" has as its main objective to determine the relationship between knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding and the attitude of mothers towards breastfeeding. The research is of a basic type, with a quantitative approach, non-experimental design and cross-sectional; the population will be made up of 385 mothers who attend the Mirones Bajo Health Center during 2024, selecting a representative sample of 193 mothers through simple random sampling. Two validated instruments will be used: a questionnaire to assess knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding, based on dimensions such as concepts, benefits and techniques; and another to measure attitudes, structured in cognitive, affective and behavioral components. The data will be collected through surveys applied directly to mothers and processed with statistical software (SPSS) for descriptive and inferential analysis. It is expected to find a significant assessment between the level of knowledge and attitude towards breastfeeding, contributing to identify key factors that can improve the practice of exclusive breastfeeding. The results will serve as a basis for designing educational and health promotion strategies at the Mirones Bajo Health Center and its community.
