Redes sociales y su influencia en los hábitos sexuales de los adolescentes de una institución educativa, Chaclacayo-2025

Abstract

Las redes sociales se han convertido en un elemento esencial en la vida diaria de los adolescentes, estas plataformas no solo permiten el acceso a información sobre sexualidad, sino también a contenido sexual explícito que puede moldear percepciones y prácticas sexuales desde edades tempranas, por ello el objetivo del estudio fue: Determinar la relación entre las redes sociales y su influencia en los hábitos sexuales de los adolescentes de una institución educativa de Chaclacayo, 2025. La metodología de enfoque cuantitativo, tipo básico, diseño no experimental. La población, formado por los 216 estudiantes de ambos sexos correspondientes a 3ro, 4to y 5to años de secundaria de la institución educativa pública de Chaclacayo, muestra estuvo formada por 120 estudiantes a quienes se aplicaron los instrumentos previamente validados. La investigación concluye que hay una relación significativa entre el uso de redes sociales y los hábitos sexuales de los adolescentes de una institución educativa de Chaclacayo, evidenciada por un valor de p=0.000, menor que 0.05, y un coeficiente de correlación de Spearman de 0.737. Estos hallazgos resaltan la importancia de orientar a los adolescentes sobre el uso responsable de las redes sociales para reducir posibles riesgos asociados a su vida sexual.

Social networks have become an essential element in the daily lives of adolescents, these platforms not only allow access to information about sexuality, but also to explicit sexual content that can shape sexual perceptions and practices from an early age, therefore the objective of the study was: To determine the relationship between social networks and their influence on the sexual habits of adolescents from an educational institution in Chaclacayo, 2025. The methodology of quantitative approach, basic type, non-experimental design. The population, made up of 216 students of both sexes corresponding to 3rd, 4th and 5th years of secondary school at the public educational institution of Chaclacayo, sample consisted of 120 students to whom the previously validated instruments were applied. The research concludes that there is a significant relationship between social media use and the sexual habits of adolescents at an educational institution in Chaclacayo, evidenced by a p-value of 0.000, less than 0.05, and a Spearman correlation coefficient of 0.737. These findings highlight the importance of guiding adolescents on responsible social media use to reduce potential risks associated with their sexual lives.
