Nivel de conocimiento y su relación con la práctica sobre lactancia materna exclusiva en madres de niños menores de 6 meses del Centro Materno Infantil Villa María del Triunfo, Lima 2025

Abstract

Esta investigación se centra principalmente en la lactancia materna exclusiva, ya que esta es el alimento primordial en el crecimiento y desarrollo del lactante, por ende, es fundamental conocer y mejorar3 los saberes y procedimientos que las madres tienen acerca de la lactancia materna. El estudio 1 tiene como objetivo; determinar la relación el nivel de conocimiento con la práctica sobre lactancia materna exclusiva en madres de niños menores de 6 meses en el Centro Materno Villa María del Triunfo del 2025. Material y método, con Una investigación de tipo hipotético-deductivo, cuantitativo y correlacional, no experimental., con una población formada por 80 2m6adres de niños menores de 6 meses que asisten al establecimiento de salud. Los instrumentos a utilizar son la encuesta y observación que fueron validadas, como hipótesis se quiere demostrar si hay una relación entre el conocimiento sobre la lactancia materna y su práctica.

This research focuses primarily on exclusive breastfeeding, as this is the primary food for infant growth and development. Therefore, it is essential to understand and improve mothers' knowledge and practices regarding breastfeeding. The objective of this study is to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and the practice of exclusive breastfeeding among mothers of infants under 6 months of age at the Villa María del Triunfo Maternity Center in 2025. Materials and methods: Hypothetical-deductive, quantitative, and correlational, non-experimental research, with a population of 802 mothers of infants under 6 months of age attending the health facility. The instruments used are a validated survey and observation. The hypothesis is to demonstrate whether there is a relationship between knowledge about breastfeeding and its practice.
