Actitudes hacia la investigación científica en estudiantes de la Escuela profesional de Tecnología Médica de una universidad privada. Lima, 2025

Abstract

La investigación científica tiene como propósito mantener la información actualizada y buscar soluciones a cualquier problemática, por lo cual durante la educación universitaria es crucial que los estudiantes adquieran buenas actitudes para generar interés en la investigación para que sean capaces de solucionar los desafíos que puedan presentarse a lo largo de su carrera profesional. Objetivo. Identificar las actitudes hacia la investigación científica en estudiantes de la EPTM de una universidad privada, Lima, 2025. Materiales y métodos. El estudio es de tipo básica, método hipotético deductivo, diseño no experimental, transversal, descriptivo y prospectivo. La población estuvo constituida por estudiantes que pertenezcan a la EPTM en Laboratorio clínico y Anatomía patológica matriculados en el año 2025, de los ciclos séptimo y octavo. Resultados: El 56.2% de estudiantes tuvo una actitud regular hacia la investigación científica, el 43.1% tiene una actitud buena y el 0.7% una mala actitud. Conclusiones: Se determinó que la actitud hacia la investigación científica es regular. En ese sentido es importante promover, animar y fortalecer la investigación en los alumnos la EAPTM con la finalidad que desde su formación profesional se motiven a investigar y siendo ya profesionales sean capaces de resolver desafíos en el área y contribuir con nuevas alternativas que ayuden a mejorar los procedimientos de laboratorio.

Scientific research aims to keep information up to date and find solutions to any problems. Therefore, during university education, it is crucial that students develop positive attitudes to generate interest in research so that they are able to solve the challenges that may arise throughout their professional careers. Objective: To identify attitudes toward scientific research in EPTM students at a private university, Lima, 2025. Materials and methods: The study is basic, using a hypothetical-deductive method, with a non-experimental, cross-sectional, descriptive, and prospective design. The population will consist of students enrolled in the EPTM in Clinical Laboratory and Pathological Anatomy in 2025 who are in their seventh and eighth cycles. Results: 56.2% of students have a neutral attitude toward scientific research, 43.1% have a positive attitude, and 0.7% have a negative attitude. Conclusions: It was determined that the attitude toward scientific research is average. In this regard, it is important to promote, encourage, and strengthen research among EAPTM students so that they are motivated to conduct research during their professional training and, once they become professionals, are able to solve challenges in the field and contribute new alternatives that help improve laboratory procedures.
