El presente estudio tendrá como objetivo determinar la relación entre la actividad física y la glucemia en comerciantes de un mercado en Lima, Perú – 2025. Se llevará a cabo una investigación con enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo observacional, correlacional y de corte transversal. La población estará conformada por 150 comerciantes pertenecientes al Mercado N.° 01 de Surquillo y la muestra estará compuesta por 108 participantes seleccionados mediante muestreo no probabilístico, utilizando la fórmula para poblaciones finitas como referencia para establecer el tamaño muestral. Se incluirán aquellos comerciantes que cumplan con los criterios de inclusión previamente establecidos. La glucemia será medida a traves del glucómetro Accu-chek Active y la actividad física se evaluará a través de un Cuestionario Internacional de Actividad Física (IPAQ). Los datos obtenidos serán analizados mediante estadística descriptiva e inferencial, aplicando pruebas de correlación para determinar la relación entre las variables. Los resultados permitirán comprender el impacto de la actividad física sobre los niveles de glucosa en sangre en esta población específica.
Resumen
The objective of this study is to determine the relationship between physical activity and blood glucose levels in vendors at a market in Lima, Peru – 2025. A quantitative, observational, correlational, and cross-sectional study will be conducted. The population will consist of 150 vendors from Market No. 1 in Surquillo, and the sample will be composed of 108 participants selected using non-probability sampling, with the formula for finite populations used to determine the sample size. Vendors who meet the pre-established inclusion criteria will be included. Blood glucose levels will be measured using the Accu-Chek Active glucometer, and physical activity will be assessed using the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ). The data obtained will be analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, applying correlation tests to determine the relationship between the variables. The results will allow us to understand the impact of physical activity on blood glucose levels in this specific population.
