Inteligencia emocional y estilos de aprendizaje en estudiantes de enfermería de una universidad privada de Lima, 2024

Abstract

El estudio planteó como objetivo establecer la relación entre inteligencia emocional y estilos de aprendizaje en los estudiantes de enfermería de una universidad privada. La investigación realizada fue de enfoque cuantitativo, no experimental, corte transversal y correlacional, la muestra la conformaron 85 estudiantes, como instrumentos se aplicaron el cuestionario Escala Trait Meta-Mood Scale (TMMS-24) adaptado por Espinoza-Venegas et al. (2015) y el cuestionario adaptado de estilos de aprendizaje (CAMEA40) por Madrigal y Trujillo (2014). Como resultado se logró establecer la relación entre los estilos de aprendizaje y la inteligencia emocional en estudiantes de enfermería (p<0.05 y rho= 0.648). Concluyendo al respecto que cuanto mejor se identifica el estilo que más les ayuda para su aprendizaje el desarrollo de su inteligencia emocional se ve favorecido en los estudiantes de enfermería de una universidad privada de Lima.

The aim of the study was to establish the relationship between emotional intelligence and learning styles in nursing students from a private university. The research was quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional and correlational. The sample consisted of 85 students. The instruments used were the Trait Meta-Mood Scale (TMMS-24) questionnaire adapted by Espinoza-Venegas et al. (2015) and the adapted learning styles questionnaire (CAMEA40) by Madrigal and Trujillo (2014). As a result, the relationship between learning styles and emotional intelligence in nursing students was established (p<0.05 and rho= 0.648). In this regard, it was concluded that the better the style that helps them most in their learning is identified, the better the development of their emotional intelligence is favored in nursing students from a private university in Lima.
