OBJECTIVE: To determine the factors associated with anemia in children under 3 years old at the Huascata Health Post. MATERIAL AND METHOD: The study has a quantitative approach, and the methodological design is a descriptive cross-sectional research, consisting of 70 children under 3 years old who will be attended to at the Huascata Health Post. Data will be entered into a matrix table created using statistical software, and this process will be carried out carefully to avoid errors and missing values during the analysis. CONCLUSIONS: Anemia is a public health issue and one of the main problems in the child population in Peru, with high prevalence and certain population groups being at greater risk of suffering from it.
Resumen
La anemia es una enfermedad de atencin sanitaria, siendo uno de los principales problemas en la poblacin infantil del per, con una elevado indic y una mayor exposicin a tenerla. Produciendo una consecuencia de la disminucin de hierro en los glbulos rojos, afectando frecuentemente a nios menores de 24 meses motivo por el cual el presente trabajo tiene por finalidad determinar los factores asociados en nios menores de 3 aos.
