Burnout Syndrome and professional quality of life in the nursing staff of the emergency service of a public hospital, Lima 2023

Abstract

Objective: To determine how the Burnout Syndrome influences the professional Quality of Life of the nursing staff. Methodology: The method will be hypothetical-deductive, quantitative approach, applied type, cross-sectional correlational non-experimental design, the population will be made up of 90 nurses, the sample will be census because it is a small population. For data collection, two instruments will be used: the Maslach Burnout Inventory Questionnaire and the CVL-35. These instruments are standardized, however they have validity and reliability in a 2021 Peruvian study, on the other hand, once the information is collected, the data will be processed in the SPSS V26 statistical program, frequency tables, tables and/or graphs will be obtained; In addition, the hypotheses will be contrasted with Spearman's Rho Statistical Correlation Test, having a significance level of p < 0.05.

Objetivo: Determinar como el Síndrome de Burnout influye en la Calidad de Vida profesional del personal de enfermería. Metodología: El método será hipotético–deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, tipo aplicada, diseño no experimental correlacional de corte transversal, la población será conformada por 90 enfermeros, la muestra será censal por ser una población pequeña. Para la recolección de datos se utilizarán dos instrumentos Cuestionario de Maslach Burnout Inventory y CVL-35. Dichos instrumentos son estandarizados sin embargo tienen validez y confiabilidad en un estudio peruano 2021, por otra parte, una vez recolectada la información, los datos serán procesados en el programa estadístico SPSS V26, se obtendrán tablas de frecuencia, tablas y/o gráficos; además, las hipótesis serán contrastadas con la Prueba Estadística de Correlación Rho de Spearman, teniendo un nivel de significancia de p < 0.05.
