Knowledge and self-care in the prevention of chronic kidney disease in hypertensive and diabetic patients at Hospital EsSalud de Bagua 2022

The main objective of this research will be to establish the relationship between knowledge and self-care in the prevention of chronic kidney disease in hypertensive and diabetic patients at the Hospital EsSalud Bagua, Amazonas, 2023. A study was carried out with a hypothetical - deductive method, In an applied, non-experimental, cross-sectional and correlational way, the population and sample made up of 80 hypertensive and diabetic users, consists of two instruments. The first instrument, is the questionnaire to determine the level of knowledge about the prevention of chronic kidney disease, was designed by Campos Salazar in 2019, which consists of 21 items evaluating the dimensions of: Knowledge of the disease, knowledge of the food, knowledge of physical activity, knowledge of physical rest and sleep and knowledge of controls and treatment; and the second instrument is the self-care questionnaire in the prevention of kidney health, it consists of 23 items and the dimensions of: Food and liquid control, physical activity, harmful habits, controls and treatment are evaluated. The first instrument was used by him in 2019, which was subjected to expert judgment and finally validated, the reliability applied through the AIKEN coefficient, yielding 0.86 as a result, considered very good for the present study; the second instrument was adapted by Espinoza in 2021, in order to establish the validity of the instrument it will be submitted to the "judgment of experts" applied in Trujillo - La Libertad, 2021. The reliability applied for the second variable mentioned according to the author applied the confidentiality of Cronbach's Alpha yielding a result of 0.779 giving reliability of the instrument. The results will be given after data processing and analysis. The data obtained will be coded and entered using the statistical software SPSSV. 26 for your process - data analysis. The presentation of the data will be through tables and graphs, and for the statistical analysis the normality test will be selected and where the statistical test will be obtained to determine the correlation, where the association between two classified variables will be measured.
Resumen
El objetivo principal de ésta investigación será establecer la relación que existe entre el conocimiento y el autocuidado en la prevención de la enfermedad renal crónica en hipertensos y diabéticos en el Hospital EsSalud Bagua, Amazonas, 2023. Se realizó un estudio con método hipotético – deductivo, de modo aplicada, no experimental, transversal y correlacional, la población y muestra compuesta por 80 usuarios hipertensos y diabéticos, consta de dos instrumentos. El primer instrumento, es el cuestionario para determinar el nivel de conocimiento sobre la prevención de la enfermedad renal crónica, fue diseñado por Campos Salazar el año 2019, el cual consta de 21 ítems evaluándose las dimensiones de: Conocimiento de la enfermedad, conocimiento de la alimentación, el conocimiento de la actividad física, el conocimiento del descanso físico y sueño y el conocimiento de controles y tratamiento; y el segundo instrumento es el cuestionario de autocuidado en la prevención de la Salud renal, consta de 23 ítems y se evalúa las dimensiones de: Alimentación y control de líquidos, actividad física, hábitos nocivos, controles y tratamiento. El primer instrumento fue utilizado por el en 2019, el cual fue sometido al juicio de expertos y finalmente validado, la confiabilidad aplicada a través del coeficiente de AIKEN, arrojando como resultado el 0.86, considerándose muy bueno para el presente estudio; el segundo instrumento fue adaptado por Espinoza en el año 2021, para que se establezca la validez del instrumento será sometido al “juicio de expertos” aplicados en Trujillo – La Libertad, 2021. La confiabilidad aplicada para la segunda variable mencionada según al autor aplicó la confidencialidad de Alfa de Cronbach arrojando un resultado de 0.779 dando fiabilidad del instrumento. Los resultados, se darán después del procesamiento y análisis de datos. Los datos obtenidos serán codificados y digitados mediante el software estadístico SPSSV. 26 para su proceso - análisis de datos. La presentación de los datos será a través de tablas y gráficos, y para el análisis estadístico se seleccionará la prueba de normalidad y donde se obtendrá la prueba estadística para determinar la correlación, donde medirá la asociación entre dos variables clasificadas
