Objective: To determine the relationship between the level of knowledge about breast cancer and preventive practices in users of the Gynecology Clinic of a National Specialized Institute of Lima in the period 2023. Methodology: the study will be an applied study with a quantitative approach and a non-experimental, correlational design. The sample will be made up of 75 users. Data Collection Techniques and Instruments: a survey will be applied with the following instruments: ¨Questionnaire to measure the level of knowledge about breast cancer and preventive practices¨; permission will be requested from the Director of the Institution and the respective information about the research will be provided, requesting approval. Afterwards, the questionnaires will be developed, the information will be downloaded to Excel, the data obtained will be controlled and the descriptive analysis will be performed. Statistical analysis: an analysis through the Rho Spearman test.
Resumen
Objetivo: Determinar la relación que existe entre el nivel de conocimiento sobre el cáncer de mama y prácticas preventivas en usuarias de Consultorio de Ginecología de un Instituto Nacional Especializado de Lima en el periodo 2023. Metodología: el estudio será de tipo aplicativo con un enfoque cuantitativo y un diseño no experimental, correlacional. La muestra estará conformada por 75 usuarias. Técnicas e Instrumentos de Recolección de Datos: se les aplicará una encuesta con los instrumentos: ¨Cuestionario para medir el nivel de conocimientos sobre el cáncer de mama y de prácticas preventiva; se solicitará el permiso al Director de la Institución y se le brindará la información respectiva de la investigación solicitando aprobación. Después se procederá al desarrollo de los cuestionarios, se descargará la información al Excel, se procede al control de los datos obtenidos y se procede al análisis descriptivo. Análisis Estadístico: un análisis a través de la prueba de Rho Spearman. Palabras clave: conocimiento, cáncer de mama, factores de riesgo, medidas preventivas.
