Introduction: this work has a quantitative approach aimed at measuring the characteristics of the social phenomenon being investigated to obtain results that allow generalization. Likewise, this research will use the descriptive design, since the aim is to describe the phenomenon under study. Likewise, it will also be cross-sectional, since the facts will be made known as they occur, at a given time and space, with the aim of making known the properties that allow measuring and evaluating the dimensions that have been established to carry out this work. . The population is 60 nurses who work in critical areas. The inclusion criterion is nursing staff who work in critical areas and wish to participate in the study and the exclusion criteria are nurses from other areas and nurses from the same area who do not wish to participate in the study. The technique that will be used in this investigative work is the survey, through its instrument the questionnaire called the Work Overload Measurement Instrument. In this sense, this questionnaire is organized into four dimensions: physical load (16 item), mental load (15 item), shift work (13 item) and organizational factors (24 item); Each of these sections has been organized according to the 4 dimensions proposed in this study: physical load, mental load, shift work and organizational factors. The rating is dichotomous.
Resumen
Introducción: el presente trabajo es de enfoque cuantitativo orientado a medir las características del fenómeno social que se investiga para obtener resultados que permitan la generalización. Asimismo, esta investigación utilizará el diseño descriptivo, pues lo que se pretende es describir el fenómeno sujeto a estudio. Así también será de corte transversal, ya que los hechos serán dados a conocer tal cual discurren, en un momento y espacio dados, con el objeto de dar a conocer las propiedades que permitan medir y evaluar las dimensiones que se han establecido para elaborar este trabajo. La población es de 60 enfermeras que trabajan en áreas críticas. El criterio de inclusión es personal de enfermería que trabaja en áreas críticas y deseen participar del estudio y los criterios de exclusión son enfermeras de potras áreas y enfermeras de la misma área que no deseen participar del estudio. La técnica que se va a utilizar en este trabajo investigativo es la encuesta, mediante su instrumento el cuestionario denominado Instrumento de Medición de Sobrecarga Laboral. En este sentido, este cuestionario está organizado en cuatro dimensiones: carga física (16 ítem), carga mental (15 ítem), trabajo a turnos (13 ítem) y factores de organización (24 ítem); cada uno de estos acápites se han organizado en función a las 4 dimensiones propuestas en este estudio: carga física, carga mental, trabajo a turnos y factores de organización. La calificación es dicotómica.
