Objective: Determine the relationship between the total family risk and the attitude of the relatives of patients with pulmonary tuberculosis at the Infantas Los Olivos Health Center, Lima, 2017. Material and method: The study has a quantitative approach with a correlational descriptive design. The population was 50 families who attend the health strategy for tuberculosis control and prevention at the Infantas Health Center in Los Olivos. The technique used was the survey. The instrument used was the Total Family Risk questionnaire: 5-33 by Pilar Amaya. Results: There is a relationship between total family risk and attitude of family members with tuberculosis, it was identified using Spearman's non-parametric bivariate correlation test, a coefficient of -0.356 was obtained with a margin of error of 5% (p = .011). In relation to the variable Total Family Risk, families with low risk predominate with 94%, and for the attitude variable of family members, the majority have an attitude of acceptance with 80%. Conclusions: There is a relationship between total family risk and attitude of family members. Of the patients with tuberculosis, the majority presented low-risk total family risk and an attitude of acceptance in family members.
Resumen
Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el riesgo familiar total y la actitud de los familiares de los pacientes con tuberculosis pulmonar en el Centro de Salud Infantas Los Olivos, Lima, 2017. Material y método: El estudio es de enfoque cuantitativo de diseño descriptivo correlacional. La población fue 50 familias que asisten a la estrategia sanitaria de control y prevención tuberculosis en el Centro de Salud Infantas en Los Olivos. La técnica utilizada fue la encuesta. El instrumento utilizado fue el cuestionario Riesgo Familiar Total :5-33 de Pilar Amaya. Resultados: Existe relación entre riesgo familiar total y actitud de los familiares con tuberculosis se identificó mediante la prueba no paramétrica de correlación bivariada de Spearman, se obtuvo un coeficiente de -0,356 con un margen de error del 5% (p = ,011). En relación a la variable Riesgo Familiar Total predomino familias con bajo riesgo con 94 %, y para la variable actitud de los familiares en su mayoría tiene una actitud de aceptación con 80 %.Conclusiones: Existe relación entre riesgo familiar total y actitud de los familiares de los pacientes con tuberculosis, en su mayoría presentaron riesgo familiar total de bajo riesgo y una actitud de aceptación en los familiares.
