This study has as Objective: To Determine the relationship between knowledge and care of the central venous catheter by the nursing professional in the intensive care unit from a National Hospital. The methodology: deductive method, non-experimental design, quantitative approach, descriptive, applied, correlational, cross-sectional; The sample will consist of 60 nurses, the instruments that will be used for the research work will be the questionnaire, which will measure knowledge of the central venous catheter and the checklist that will measure the care provided, which are already validated; Both instruments have a high level of statistical reliability (Kr20: 0.99). The information collection will take approximately 30 minutes for each specialist nurse. Tables will be used for analysis and interpretation. graphics. Likewise, to contract the hypothesis, the Chi Square Test will be used as a statistical estimate, with a confidence level of 99%, an error of 1%, which will be reflected in the contingency table of both variables.
Resumen
Este estudio tiene como Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre conocimiento y cuidado del catéter venoso central por el profesional de enfermería en la unidad de cuidados intensivos de un hospital nacional. La metodología: método deductivo, diseño no experimental, de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo descriptivo, aplicada, correlacional, de corte transversal; la muestra estará constituida por 60 enfermeras, los instrumentos que se usaran para el trabajo de investigación serán el cuestionario, que medirá la el conocimiento del catéter venoso central y la lista de cotejo que medirá el cuidado que se brinda, los cuales ya están validados; ambos instrumentos tienen un alto nivel de confiabilidad (Kr20: 0.99) dato estadístico, para la recolección de la información se tendrá una duración aproximada de 30 minutos, para cada enfermera especialista, para el análisis e interpretación se harán uso de tablas, gráficos. Asimismo, para la contratación de la hipótesis, se utilizará cómo estimación estadística la Prueba de Chi Cuadrado, con un nivel de confianza del 99%, un error del 1%, el cual será plasmado en la tabla de contingencia de ambas variables.
