Objective: To determine how knowledge of anemia is related to preventive measures in mothers of children aged 6 months to 3 years attended at CMI Manuel Barreto Lima, 2023. Methodology: A quantitative, applied approach was developed, with a descriptive correlational non-experimental cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 100 mothers of children aged 6 months to 3 years. The technique used was a survey, and the instrument was a questionnaire. Results: It was found that there is average knowledge with inadequate preventive measures in 54%. Likewise, there is average knowledge with appropriate preventive measures in 37%. Conclusion: It was determined that there is a significant relationship between knowledge of anemia and preventive measures in mothers of children aged 6 months to 3 years.
Resumen
Objetivo: Determinar cómo el conocimiento de anemia se relaciona con las medidas preventivas en madres de niños de 6 meses a 3 años atendidos en CMI Manuel Barreto Lima ,2023. Metodología: se desarrolló de enfoque cuantitativo, aplicado, su diseño metodológico fue descriptivo correlacional no experimental de corte transversal. La muestra estuvo constituida de 100 madres de niños de 6 meses a 3 años de edad. La técnica utilizada es la encuesta y en instrumento un cuestionario. Resultados: Se encontró que hay conocimiento medio con medidas preventivas inadecuadas en un 54%. Asimismo, hay medio conocimiento con medidas preventivas adecuadas en un 37%. Conclusión: se determinó que existe relación significativa entre conocimiento de anemia y medidas preventivas en madres de niños de 6 meses a 3 años.
