Introduction: Currently, in low- and middle-income countries, 15% of hospitalized patients die due to inadequate quality of hospital care. It is crucial that patients diagnosed with cancer receive high-quality care involving a multidisciplinary team, as chemotherapy treatment can be a depressing and painful process for the patient. Objective: To determine how the perception of Humanized Nursing Care relates to the satisfaction of patients undergoing outpatient chemotherapy. Methodology: Hypothetico-deductive, quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional, and correlational design. The population consists of 900 oncology patients who attend the outpatient chemotherapy service for one month, with a sample of 183 of them, treated at a Private Clinic in Lima, 2024. Questionnaires will be used as instruments to measure each variable: the PCHE questionnaire to analyze the perception of humanized care, and the questionnaire developed by Taipe R. and Jiménez J., titled "Satisfaction of users undergoing Chemotherapy," will be used to measure satisfaction. After data collection, the data will be processed in SPSS 26, and to identify any relationship between the variables, Spearman's Rho tests will be performed.
Resumen
Introducción: En la actuald, en países con ingresos bajos o medio el 15% de pacientes hospitalizados fallecen debido a una deficiente calidad de atención hospitalaria. Es crucial que los pacientes diagnosticados de cáncer reciban una atención de alta calidad que involucre un equipo multidisciplinario, el tratamiento de quimioterapia puede ser un proceso deprimente y doloroso para el paciente. El objetivo: Determinar cómo la percepción del Cuidado Humanizado de Enfermería se relaciona con la satisfacción en el paciente con Quimioterapia Ambulatoria. Metodología: Hipotéticodeductivo, cuantitativo, no experimental, corte transversal y diseño correlacional. La población se conforma de 900 pacientes oncológicos que acuden durante un mes al servicio de Quimioterapia Ambulatoria y la muestra se conforma de 183 de ellos, atendidos en una Clínica Privada de Lima, 2024. A modo de instrumento se emplearán los cuestionarios para medir cada variable, PCHE para analizar la variable percepción del cuidado humanizado y para medir la variable Satisfacción se empleará el cuestionario elaborado por Taipe. R y Jiménez J. titulado: Satisfacción del usuario sometido a Quimioterapia. Posterior a la recolección de datos, se pasará al SPSS 26, asimismo, para identificar si hay relación entre las variables se realizarán pruebas de Rho de Spearman.
