Knowledge and practice in the care of the polytraumatized patient in nurses of the emergency service of the regional hospital of Huacho-2021

Abstract

Objective: To determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and practice in the care of polytraumatized patients in nurses of the Emergency Service of the Huacho Regional Hospital-2021.

Basic, quantitative, non-experimental research; with an inductive method. We will work with 30 nursing professionals who work in the emergency service, defined by simple random probabilistic sampling with a 95% confidence level.

The information will be collected using two questionnaires validated in previous studies: on knowledge, consisting of 28 questions, whose consistency was 0.76 and reliability 0.69 obtained by Cronbach's Alpha. The observation guide, consisting of 29 questions, validated with a Pearson Correlation of 0.76 and 0.77 reliability of Cronbach's Alpha. Statistical analysis will be carried out through SPSS software, for the correlation hiring the Chi square test will be used.

Los análisis estadístico se realizarán a través de software SPSS., para la contratación de correlación se empleara la prueba Chi cuadrado."
