dc.description.abstract	This study aimed to determine the level of importance of the UPNW virtual library in the development of scientific research among dental students from the 8th to the 10th semester in Lima, 2023. The study was based on a quantitative, basic approach, using a non-experimental, analytical, observational, cross-sectional, and descriptive design. The sample consisted of 148 students from the aforementioned semesters, who completed a questionnaire. The results showed that there were no significant differences based on gender, while age and academic cycle revealed that as age and academic cycle increased, the perceived level of importance intensified. This was confirmed with a significance level lower than 5%, thus supporting the hypothesis related to these two variables. Additionally, it was found that students accessed the virtual library 4 to 5 times a day. The study concluded that the majority of respondents classified the importance of the UPNW virtual library as "Medium," indicating that they perceive it as a valuable resource, but not essential.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	En este estudio se buscó determinar el nivel de importancia de la biblioteca virtual UPNW en el desarrollo de investigación científica en alumnos de 8vo a 10mo ciclo de odontología, Lima 2023. Fundamentándose en un estudio cuantitativo, básico, bajo diseño no experimental, analítico, observacional, transversal y descriptivo. Siendo la muestra de 148 estudiantes ubicados en los ciclos mencionados anteriormente, a quienes se les aplicó un cuestionario. Obteniéndose como resultados que, no existen diferencias significativas según el sexo, mientras que, en la edad y el ciclo académico, se denota que, a medida que se avanza en edad y en ciclo académico, el nivel de importancia se intensifica, lo cual fue comprobado a un nivel de significancia menor al 5%, por tanto, se aprobó la hipótesis planteada en relación a esas dos variables, asimismo, se encontró que, los estudiantes entran entre 4 a 5 veces al día a su biblioteca virtual. Concluyendo que, la mayoría de los encuestados clasifica la importancia de la biblioteca virtual UPNW como "Medio", indicando que la perciben como un recurso valioso, pero no esencial.	es_ES
