Resumen
The present research project, titled Knowledge and Practice of Nursing Staff on Neurodevelopmental Care of Hospitalized Newborns in the Intensive Care Unit, aims to determine the relationship between the knowledge and practice of nursing staff regarding neurodevelopmental care of hospitalized newborns in the intensive care unit of a public hospital in Huánuco, 2023. This study will adopt a quantitative approach with a methodological, hypothetical-deductive design. It is an applied, non-experimental, correlational, and cross-sectional study involving 80 nursing staff members working in the Neonatology Service of a public hospital in Huánuco. Instrument I: A questionnaire will be used to measure the level of knowledge among nursing staff about neurodevelopmental care of premature newborns, taking reference from a pre-existing questionnaire. Instrument II: A checklist will be employed to evaluate the nursing staff’s practices related to neurodevelopmental care.
Resumen
Como objetivo general determinar la relación entre el conocimiento y practica del personal de enfermería sobre los cuidados del neurodesarrollo del recién nacido hospitalizado en la unidad de cuidados intensivos de un hospital público en Huánuco -2023. Esta investigación tendrá un enfoque cuantitativo con un estudio metodológico, hipotético, deductivo; de tipo aplicado y no experimental, correccional y transversal, en el cual participaran 80 personales de enfermería que laboran en el hospital publico de Huánuco del Servicio de Neonatología. Instrumento i será un cuestionario para medir el nivel de conocimiento del personal de enfermería acerca de los cuidados del neurodesarrollo del recién nacido prematuro, se toma como referencia cuestionario creado. Instrumento ii será una lista de cotejo para evaluar las practicas de personal de enfermería acerca de los cuidados del neurodesarrollo
