    Anxiety due to COVID-19 and psychological well-being in health personnel at a hospital in Callao, 2023

    138 healthcare professionals from emergency services, COVID hospitalization, and ICU at a public hospital in Callao were surveyed to check whether anxiety from COVID-19 is related to psychological well-being and its respective components. The study was basic, non-experimental, and correlational. Two instruments were administered: the COVID-19 Anxiety Scale by Lee (2020) and the Psychological Well-Being Scale for Adults (BIEPS-A) by Casullo (2002). The results showed that 64.3% (90) of healthcare professionals reported low levels of anxiety towards COVID-19, while 47.9% (67) showed medium psychological well-being levels. Inferential analysis found a moderate inverse correlation between anxiety from COVID-19 and psychological well-being.
