Objective: To determine the relationship between functional capacity and quality of life in patients with mechanical cervicalgia at the REHAVITALE Physical Therapy Center, 2023.
Materials and Methods: The method in this research was hypothetical-deductive. The population consisted of patients receiving treatment at the REHAVITALE Physical Therapy Center, with a sample size of 106 patients.
Results: The majority of the group was aged 31-35 years (42.17%), followed by those aged 26-30 years (32.53%) and 36-40 years (25.30%). A slight majority of the sample were female (53.01%). Most participants were employed (34.94%), followed by retirees (26.51%), students (19.28%), and the unemployed (19.28%). The majority of responses regarding functional capacity were rated as "mild disability" (31.33%).
Conclusions: There is a relationship between functional capacity and quality of life, particularly in the dimensions of physical health, psychological health, and social relationships.
