Publicación Acceso abierto Calidad del cuidado de enfermería y satisfacción del usuario del servicio de medicina de un hospital nacional de Lima, 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-02-29) Avellaneda Guerrero, Esli Edith; Bravo Alegre, Gloria María; Millones Gomez, Segundo GermanObjective: Determine the relationship that exists between the quality of nursing care and user satisfaction. Methodology: The research adopted the quantitative approach and hypotheticaldeductive method and is of an applied type, using the non-experimental, transversal and correlational design, working with a finite population of hospitalized users in the medicine service, averaging 80 individuals. The choice not to carry out a sample selection converted the population into a census sample, simplifying the scope of the research. The instruments used were a questionnaire on the quality of nursing care and the SERVQUAL user satisfaction questionnaire, both including closed questions about sociodemographic data. Results: They revealed consistent excellence in the performance of nursing professionals, with predominance in the upper intermediate levels both in the quality of care (moderate: 53.8%) and in user satisfaction (satisfied: 82.5%). The human dimension of care stood out with 56.3%% at the moderate level. The technical-scientific dimension showed a significant positive correlation with user satisfaction, reaching a notable 47.5% (moderate). The environment dimension was also positively related, with a notable 65.0% located at the moderate level and 27.5% at the good level. Conclusions: The research confirmed a significant and positive relationship between the quality of nursing care and user satisfaction in the medicine service of a national hospital in Lima (Rho = 0.506, p<0.000).
