The academic degree of the experts does not influence the criminal investigation of the crime scene of the cases of parricide (p = 0.194). In contrast, training (p = 0.004) and experience time (p = 0.004) significantly influence criminal investigation of the crime scene. Concluding that the academic training, referred to the training and experience time of the experts, influences the criminal investigation of the crime scene in cases of parricide.Publicación Acceso abierto Poder predictivo del método de carrea en la estimación de la estatura real de los estudiantes de la asignatura de estomatología forense de la universidad de San Martín de Porres en el distrito de San Luis año 2018(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-11-16) Quiroz Coronado, Miguel Angel; Fox Cortez, Julio AlonsoThe main objective of this research is to determine to what extent the predictive power of height estimation is influenced by the Carrea Method in the real stature of the students of the Subject of Forensic Stomatology of the University of San Martín de Porres in the District of San Luis. Odontometry, branch of Dentistry, is the procedure for obtaining measurements of the mesiodistal diameters of the teeth; that applied to a formula originally made by Dr. Juan Ubaldo Carrea, where the length of the chord radius and the mandibular dental arc are determined from the central incisor, lateral incisor and canine lower unilateral parts and then by mathematical techniques to establish a formula that allows to predict the stature of the individual. In the present work, 64 students of the subject of Forensic Stomatology of the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of San Martín de Porres, Lima-Peru, semester 2018-II, where the records of the dental arches for using dentistry to determine the mesiodistal diameters of the front lower dental pieces that will serve as an input to estimate by the mathematical formulas developed by Dr. Ubaldo Carrea the stature with the lowest level of error possible. A non-experimental, cross-sectional and correlational study of predictive type was performed, where the height and dental dimensions of 64 students of both sexes with ages between 20 and 37 years were analyzed to test the hypothesis of the existence of direct and statistically significant correlation between height real and minimum and maximum height obtained by the Carrea method and the existence of differences in the prediction of height according to sex and age groups. Only 17,2% of the correct height was found, there being a significant difference between the sexes, being the male students those who obtained the highest percentage of success (44,4%). No statistically significant correlation was found between the actual height and the minimum and maximum heights. A multiple regression formula was obtained that involves, as explanatory variables of the stature, the stature calculated by the Carrea method and the radio cord dimension. In this obtained formula, 59,4% of the total variation is explained by the relationship between the dependent variable (real stature) and the independent variables (calculated height and radius chord). In conclusion, it is described that the Carrea method cannot be used to estimate the height of the studied population, since no correlation was found between dental dimensions, method calculations and real height. Due to the low predictive power obtained other more accurate and valid complementary alternatives should be used to estimate height accurately.Publicación Acceso abierto Eficacia del antígeno prostático específico y la fosfatasa ácida en la detección de fluido seminal en prendas de vestir pertenecientes a mujeres víctimas de violación sexual en la División Médico Legal II Lima - norte, año 2017 – 2018(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-11-16) Márquez Guzmán, Christian Jesús; Quiroz Mejía, Jesús MiguelAn investigation was carried out using the prostate specific antigen (PSA) and acid phosphatase (FA) test, with the aim of determining its effectiveness in relation to the detection of seminal fluid in clothing, also the search for sperm was performed by microscopic observation (MC) as a confirmatory test for the detection of this type of fluid; 129 clothing items such as tricks, pants and shorts, belonging to women victims of rape were analyzed according to legal medical examination. The reliable presence of seminal fluid was detected in 90 garments (70%) checked by the positive results to the MC; seminal components such as: PSA in 94 garments (73%), FA in 88 garments (65%); in 39 samples (30%) the presence of seminal fluid was not detected; the integral analysis of the data obtained revealed 4 types of associations of results with variations of positivity and negativity of the tests, being 82 (64%) the I (PSA +, FA +, MC +), 2 (1.5%) the II (PSA +, FA -, MC -), 8 (6%) the III (PSA +, FA -, MC +) and 2 (1.5%) the IV (PSA +, FA+, MC -). The statistical analysis applied to the results reflected a well-marked positive correlation in relation to the results obtained by the PSA and MC association with a statistical value p0.05 and a Spearman correlation index (rho) of 0.9270 closer to 1, in comparison to the one obtained by the FA and MC test that showed a value (rho) of 0.8286, statistically determining a greater association and interdependence relationship between the results of the PSA and MC tests; 100% efficacy was also determined in terms of the detection of seminal fluid in garments by using the PSA test in relation to 91% effectiveness of the FA test, corroborated by the positive microscopy results.Publicación Acceso abierto Estudio microcomparativo histológico óseo del Canis lupus familiaris (perro) y del homo sapiens (hombre) en investigaciones forenses antropológicas en Cajamarca, 2018(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-11-16) Chávez Farro, Miguel Enrique; Fox Cortez, Julio AlonsoThe main objective of this research is to determine the differences between the bone of Canis lupus familiaris (dog) and Homo sapiens (man) during the study of anthropological forensic investigations. In order to obtain it, a specific scientific, technical, and artistic knowledge is required, that is, qualified, subject to certain parameters of expertise. The assessment is a practice that belongs exclusively to the judges who have knowledge of the cause. In fact, it concerns the judge to verify the evidence, expertise presented at the trial, and once all the components have been assembled, he must issue a solution that is linked to them, and thus give a good end to the case raised. The relevance of the oral trial as a procedural principle is that it meets the demands established by the delivery of justice in democratic countries. That is why in the present investigation it is proposed as a driving force in investigating how the assessment of phonetic expertise affects the oral trial of crimes related to organized crime, National Criminal Chamber, Lima 2015-2018.
