Ítem Acceso abierto Abuse of social networks and self-control in secondary school students of the Chorrillos district, 2019(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-10-27) Horta Velayarce, Ana María; Tamayo Toro, Mónica Alexandra420 secondary school students were studied in a non-probabilistic sample to check the relationship between social media abuse and self-control. The Social Media Addiction Scale (ARS) by Miguel Escurra and Edwin Salas and the Child and Adolescent Self-Control Questionnaire (CACIA) by Capafóns Bonet and Silva Moreno, adapted for the Peruvian context, were used. The results indicated that 41.6% of the participants were at a moderate level of social media abuse and 31.1% were at a regular level of self-control. Additionally, statistically significant differences were found in the obsession component (U = 19835.0; p = .003) and social media abuse (U = 20287.5; p = .010) by gender. Statistically significant differences were also found in the lack of control over social media use (X2 = 6.599; p = .037) and social media abuse (X2 = 5.919; p = .042) by age. It has a quantitative, applied and non-experimental methodology applied to 100 students, with which the following results are available. It is evident that, within the general data of the application of the survey to nursing students, 79% of the participants belong to the female gender, 21% to the male gender. Finally, young people aged 25 or over only correspond to 25% of the participating population. Likewise, it is evident that academic anxiety is at a high level in 59%. Likewise, it is observed that the commitment of students is high at 65%, likewise, it is identified that the relationship between the State Anxiety dimension of Academic Anxiety with academic commitment in Nursing students is positive (Rho= 0.771) and statistically significant, with a significance value calculated from p=0.000 < 0.05”). It is determined that the relationship between academic anxiety and academic commitment in Nursing students is positive and good (Spearman's Rho = 0.678), and is statistically significant with a calculated significance value of p = 0.000 < 0.05.).Ítem Acceso abierto Academic satisfaction and its relationship with achievement in nursing skills in graduates of a private university in Lima - 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-02-08) Soto Tarazona, Paula Lita; Uturunco Vera, Milagros LizbethThe objective of this study was to determine the relationship between academic satisfaction as an alternative for achievement in nursing competencies in graduates of a Private University of Lima 2023, where the non-experimental, cross-sectional correlational methodology was used, consisting of 102 nursing graduates. The Chi square test was used for the stated objectives. The results indicate that the graduates surveyed at a private university in Lima, 2.0%, stated that they are dissatisfied with their academic satisfaction, 35.29% stated that they are slightly satisfied, and 72.5% said that they are satisfied, and 1.0% said that they are dissatisfied with their academic satisfaction. They stated that nursing competencies are of a low level, 27.5% stated a medium level and 71.6% stated a high level. In conclusion, there is a significant correlation between both variables, whose significance value p = 0.000 < 0.05; with a Spearman coefficient of 0.680, indicating a positive and good correlation between academic satisfaction and nursing competencies.Ítem Acceso abierto Academic self-efficacy and academic stress in university students performing their pre-professional internships in a hospital, Metropolitan Lima – 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-12-15) Plácido Escobedo, Yesenia Del Pilar; Reyes Callahuacho, David TitoThe purpose of this study was to establish the relationship between the variables academic self-efficacy and academic stress in health sciences university students who are completing their pre-professional internships at a military hospital in Metropolitan Lima, 2022. The methodology followed a quantitative approach, basic type, correlational, and non-experimental, cross-sectional design, with a sample of 155 health sciences university students of both genders, with an average age between 20 and 57 years, who are completing their pre-professional internships at a military hospital. The questionnaires used were the Academic Self-Efficacy Scale (EAPESA) and the SISCO SV-21 Inventory; Spearman's rho coefficient was employed to verify the hypotheses. The results showed that the academic self-efficacy variable correlates in a direct and low manner (rho = -0.351; p=0.001<0.05) with the academic stress variable in health sciences university students completing their pre-professional internships. The method was hypothetical deductive, quantitative approach, applied type research, correlational design, its population was 123 students and its sample consisted of 93 students. The technique for data collection was the survey, while the instrument was the questionnaire. To measure academic stress, the SISCO Inventory devised by Arturo Barraza and validated in Peru by Soledad Sullca in 2020 was chosen. For its part, anxiety has been measured with the Anxiety Assessment Scale whose authorship corresponds to C. Spielberg with validation for the Peruvian context by Chambi and Flores in the year 2022. Finally, with the statistical analysis, the frequency distribution, the normality test and the contrasting of hypotheses will be known. In the descriptive statistics, tables and frequency figures will be elaborated with the results. Inferential statistics will be used to calculate parameters and test population hypotheses. Once verified, the data will be entered into the SPSS application for analysis and interpretation. Methodology: The method was hypothetical deductive, quantitative approach, applied type research, correlational design. The population was 123 students and the sample consisted of 93 nursing students. The technique for data collection was the survey, while the instrument was the questionnaire. To measure academic stress, the SISCO SV- 21 Inventory devised by Arturo Barraza and validated in Peru by Sullca in 2020 was chosen. For its part, anxiety has been measured with the Anxiety Assessment Scale whose authorship corresponds to C Spielberg with validation for the Peruvian context by Chambi and Flores in the year 2022. The data matrix will be processed with SPSS software version 26.0. Finally, with the descriptive statistical analysis we will have the frequencies of the variables and their dimensions, and with the inferential analysis the Spearman's R correlation test will be applied. The results showed that academic stress and anxiety in students of the tenth cycle presented moderate stress with moderate anxiety in 36.6%; in the dimension stressors of academic stress with anxiety there is moderate stress with moderate anxiety in 31.2; in the dimension symptoms of academic stress with anxiety presented moderate stress with moderate anxiety in 34.4%; and in the dimension coping strategies of academic stress with anxiety presented moderate stress and moderate anxiety in 29.0%. Materials and Methods: The inductive-deductive method was used for this basic research, which has a quantitative approach and a descriptive design. The SISCO academic stress instrument by Barraza, adapted by Alania, Llancari, Rafaele, and Ortega (2020), was applied. This instrument consisted of 47 items and three dimensions (stressors, symptoms, coping strategies), with a reliability of 0.88 in Cronbach's alpha. Additionally, the Fear of COVID-19 Scale (FCV-19S) by Ahorsu (2020), composed of 7 items and two dimensions (emotional fear reactions and fear expressions), was used. Regarding the main problem, it was observed that the academic stress variable had 64.29% representing a medium level, while the fear of contracting coronavirus variable showed 78.6%, representing a high level. Conclusions: The research reveals significant levels of academic stress and fear of contracting coronavirus, influenced by the ongoing health crisis we are currently experiencing.Ítem Acceso abierto Academic stress and its relationship with procrastination in nursing students of cycles IX and X of a private university of Lima, 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-10-19) Sánchez Rupaylla, Xuxa Elizabeth; Mori Castro, Jaime AlbertoBased on the present research study, we have sought to analyze the relationship between academic stress and procrastination in nursing students of cycles IX and X of a private university in Lima, 2023; For this purpose, an applied methodology and a quantitative approach with a correlational level and non-experimental design has been used, being the sample of 157 nursing students, who were surveyed through instruments such as questionnaires, also both instruments were subjected to a reliability process by means of Cronbach's alpha, being that the SISCO inventory was validated in Lima by Álvarez and Cerrón in 2020 while the EPA instrument was through the analysis executed by Verastegui and Milagros in Peru in 2017 which allowed identifying the reliability of the referred instruments. Materials and methods: The study consists of a quantitative perspective and the design is correlational. and cross section. The sample was made up of 166 undergraduate students who were evaluated using the academic stress inventory (SISCO), and the stress coping questionnaire (COPE). Results: Where in the first place it was evident that the majority represented in 112 students were between the ages of 18 and 22 (67.5%), in 129 students they are female (77.7%), in 144 students they are single (86 .7%), in 96 students only studies (57.8%), firstly it was evident that the academic stress variable presented a moderate level in 48.2% (80), that the dimension in stressful stimuli presented a moderate level deep in 56.6% (94), symptoms dimension presented a moderating level in 53% (88), and the coping strategies dimension presented a deep level in 54.8% (91). The objective was to determine whether there is a significant relationship between academic stress and procrastination in students of the ninth cycle of Nursing at Norbert Wiener University, Lima, 2021. It is an applied research study, using the hypothetical-deductive method with a quantitative approach. The research was descriptive-theoretical or pure, and a correlational design was used, with a sample of 53 ninth-cycle nursing students. The academic stress inventory and the SISCO procrastination scale were used for evaluation. Spearman's Rho statistic was applied for data analysis. According to the findings on academic stress, 26 students (49% of the class) from the ninth cycle of nursing at Norbert Wiener University experience moderate academic stress; 20 students (38%) show moderately low academic stress, and 2 students (4%) have moderately high academic stress. Regarding procrastination, 25 students (47%) show moderately high procrastination; 22 students (42%) have high procrastination, and 5 students (9%) present moderate procrastination. Materials and methods: of quantitative approach, non-experimental design, descriptive and correlational level. The method used was hypothetical deductive. The population was made up of 95 nursing interns from a private university, Lima 2023, during the month of May 2023. The sample was census. The type of test was non-probabilistic, intentional. Results: the average age was 30.6 years. Regarding gender, 89.4% were female. Regarding marital status, 51.6% (n=49) were single. 88.4% (n=84) do work. Academic stress was low in 70.5%(n=67). Resilience was high in 63.2%(n=60). There was a significant relationship between academic stress and resilience (p=0.000), stressors dimension (p=0.08), symptoms dimension (p value=0.000) and coping strategies dimension (p=0.000). Regarding the methodology, a study of the hypothetical deductive method was developed, with a quantitative approach, of an applied, non-experimental type, of a descriptive, correlational and cross-sectional scope; in a sample made up of 112 participants; The instruments that allowed data collection were two questionnaires. The first was the SISCO Inventory, which measures academic stress; and the second was the Wagnild and Young Resilience scale. According to the results; Regarding academic stress, a severe level of stress was found in the students in 74.1% of the respondents, likewise 82.1% of the participants reached a level of resilience. It was possible to identify that there is a relationship between the stressor dimension and resilience, finding statistical significance (p=0.016) and rho=0.228; there is a relationship between the stress symptoms dimension and resilience, through statistical significance (p=0.005) and rho=0.265; there is a relationship between the coping strategies dimension and resilience, through statistical significance (p=0.000) and rho=0.471. The hypothetical deductive, quantitative, applied, cross-sectional method was applied. and correlational level. The population was made up of 80 nursing students from the eighth cycle of a private university in Lima. The technique was the survey, the instrument applied was the SISCO SV Inventory of academic stress and the Pittsburg Sleep Quality Index (ICSP). The statistical results showed that there is no significant relationship between the academic stress variable and sleep quality (p=0.294) and they are related in a minimal negative way (Rho = -0.117). The decision is made not to reject the null hypothesis and not to accept the alternative hypothesis. It was concluded that stress is not related to sleep quality in nursing students at a private university in Lima. In the First, a survey model was carried out that, through a 5-point hedonic scale corresponding to smell, flavor and texture, is capable of determining which of the 3 formulations presented is the most accepted (F1 = 65%, F2 = 70% F3 = 55%).In the second phase I carry out an analysis of the antioxidant capacity in trolox equivalents to the winning formulation (F2=70%) resulting from the sensory evaluation survey. The sample was evaluated in the Molina total quality laboratories of the Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina and the points to be evaluated were antioxidant capacity and total anthocyanins. Then the results were as follows: antioxidant capacity was obtained with a measurement of 753,941 ± 33,177 µmol TROLOX eq./g. sample and regarding the total anthocyanin count, the results were 5.79 ± 0.03 in mg./100g. In conclusion, the results obtained from the sensory acceptability test applied to the three blueberry drink formulations determined that formulation No. 2 was the winner, after which the antioxidant capacity and total anthocyanins of the sample were found. No. 2, the results of the first compound far exceed similar formulations (by more than 500%), while in the second compound a concentration greater than 50% is observed. Objective: Determine the level of acceptability and nutritional value of cookies based on moringa, cañihua and quinoa in fourth year students secondary school of IE 1228 Leoncio Prado Gutiérrez Lima 2023. Methodology: The research is applied with a non-experimental design and transversal. A cookie was made from moringa flour, cañihua and quinoa, calculated the nutritional value using the table of food composition and the acceptability of the cookie was evaluated through the attributes of flavor, color, crunchiness and appearance using the hedonic scale sheet applied to 90 volunteers. The objective was to evaluate the acceptability of a nectar made with alfalfa, mango, and camu camu among Adventists in Lima, Peru. Methodology: Applied research, experimental, prospective, and cross-sectional design. A nectar was made using alfalfa, mango, and camu camu, its nutritional value calculated, and sensory characteristics such as odor, taste, and color were evaluated with 100 volunteers from the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in the Independencia district of Lima, Peru. Results: The nectar made from alfalfa, mango, and camu camu contains 23 mg of vitamin A and 504.26 mg of vitamin C, with 53% acceptance for color, 64% for odor, and 71% for taste among Adventists in Lima, Peru. Conclusions: The nectar provides a significant contribution of vitamins A and C, important nutrients for the immune system.Ítem Acceso abierto Acceptance and results of the Sars-Cov-2 vaccine during pregnancy and breastfeeding(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-02-07) Parvina Hernandez, Pamela Yoselin; Morales Alvarado, Sabrina YnésObjective: To determine the scientific evidence regarding the acceptance and outcomes of the SARS-CoV-2 vaccine during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Materials and Methods: A qualitative bibliographic review was conducted. Information was retrieved from various databases, including Google Scholar, Lilacs, PubMed, Elsevier, Cochrane, Scielo, ScienceDirect, and Microsoft Academic. The study included 42 articles that met the inclusion criteria for the 2021 study period. The Grade system was used to evaluate the quality of each article. Results: There was positive acceptance of the vaccine by pregnant and breastfeeding women. The vaccine demonstrated high effectiveness without complications in pregnant and breastfeeding women. Post-vaccination clinical reactions included common symptoms such as injection site pain, headache, general weakness, and myalgia. Neutralizing antibodies were detected in maternal serum, with placental transfer to the umbilical cord. Additionally, neutralizing and specific antibodies were found in breast milk, providing immune transfer to the infants. Conclusion: The vaccine should be used during pregnancy with complete safety as it provides an immunological response for both the mother and baby. The technique used will be the survey and observation and the instrument will be a questionnaire to evaluate the access barriers variable and for the second variable compliance with the vaccination scheme a checklist will be used, with validation and reliability of Cronbach's alpha. with a value of 0.72. Asimismo, en la investigación se empleará el método hipotético – deductivo, será de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo aplicativa, correlacional, de corte transversal, no experimental y de diseño observacional. La muestra a aplicar en la investigación estará compuesta por 217 individuos a quienes se les aplicará con técnicas la encuesta mediante la aplicación de cuestionarios y lista de cotejos validados y confirmadas; los 2 instrumentos pueden ser aplicados a las personas que cumplan con los criterios de inclusión y puedan ser parte de la muestra de estudio, por la cual podemos luego procesar a través del programa estadístico SPSS todos los resultados de cada dimensión de las variables de estudio y posterior a estas ser presentados mediante gráficos y tablas.
