Políticas públicas sobre trabajo y promoción del empleo y la explotación infantil en el sector informal, La Victoria, Lima 2022

The objective of the research was to determine the influence of public policies on labor and employment promotion on child exploitation in the informal sector in the district of La Victoria, Lima 2022, using the hypothetical-deductive method, with a quantitative approach, using the type of applied research and explanatory level. The research design is non-experimental and cross-sectional. The selected population corresponds to social workers who work in organizations dedicated to the protection of children and adolescents in the district of La Victoria. As for the sample of the population, it was made up of 135 workers from these institutions. The technique used was the survey and the instrument used was the questionnaire. The results show that the Chi-square test had a significance of 0.000 < 0.05; therefore, the H0 is rejected; and it is concluded that public policies on labor and employment promotion have a significant influence on child exploitation in the informal sector, La Victoria, Lima 2022, that is, as long as the management of public policies on labor and employment promotion is improved, there will be a reduction in child exploitation in the sector under study.
