Publicación Acceso abierto Pertinencia en la política de acceso y el aprovechamiento de la beca 18 otorgada a los ingresantes de universidades privadas en la convocatoria 2014, Pronabec(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-12-18) Chávez Reyes, Lillian Beatriz; Vásquez Castro, Rommy Cristina; Raffo Ibarra, Guillermo AlejandroThe Bachelor Scholarship or Scholarship 18" (according to the Regulation of Law No. 29837) is a subsidized scholarshi for permanent access and completion of higher education, a university level and higher technology, in the country or abroad. A quantitative approach was applied at the correlational level, cross-sectional, non-experimental design. Applied research, non-probabilistic sampling for convenience, selecting 80 applicants for information in the study entity, with inclusion and exclusion criteria. The data, collected through surveys and processed with SPSS software, allowed for a detailed statistical analysis. A structured questionnaire was used for each variable, validated by experts and Cronbach's alpha coefficient of significant reliability, among the set of items of the questionnaires applied. Rho Spearman coefficient, of 0.810, affirming the existence of a significant, direct and very strong positive relationship between the variables; therefore, while the better the transparency in management, the better the compliance with the right of access to public information, it is expected that a better evaluation of requests for information, of matters of interest, will lead to an improvement in transparency, publishing it in a more understandable and clear way, as well as the mechanisms to access such public information.
