    The present research entitled, Competencies of procurement specialists and the efficiency of acquisitions in the National Infrastructure Authority 2024, had as its main objective, to determine if the competencies of procurement specialists are significantly related to the efficiency of acquisitions in the National Infrastructure Authority 2024. To do this, an applied study was carried out, which had a quantitative approach, with a cross-sectional design; non-experimental and correlational level. The technique used was a survey; and two instruments were used, consisting of two questionnaires that were applied to a study sample, made up of a group of servers that perform functions within the organization related to acquisitions, which totaled 53 people, who belong to the Supply Unit and the Infrastructure Acquisitions Directorate. The results of the study show a significance value, p (sig. = 0.000), for the relationship between the two variables, competencies of procurement specialists and procurement efficiency, demonstrating that there is a significant relationship between the study variables. Likewise, the correlation coefficient (Spearman's Rho) had a value of 0.666, a value that corresponds to a moderate level of correlation. The study concluded that there is a significant and moderate level relationship between the competencies of procurement specialists and procurement efficiency in the National Infrastructure Authority 2024.
