    The low results achieved by Colombian students in national and international tests are known, and as a plan for improvement, all educational institutions have designed to improve the quality of the educational service. Not being alien to this reality, it is proposed to develop this thesis that seeks to determine the extent to which the development of motor skills improves the academic performance of the third grade students in the educational institution Escuela Superior Superior Cristo Rey de Barrancabermeja, Santander, Colombia. The research had a quantitative approach, with pre-experimental design, because the subject of study is a social research whose objective is to measure the incidence of one variable under study under the effect of another in a school context. A questionnaire designed for this purpose was used in a technical survey for the collection of information and that took into account the conceptual, procedural and attitudinal dimensions. Statistical methods are used for the analysis of the data, for this case t-student, with the purpose of exploring social relations and describing reality as experienced by their respective protagonists. Finally, with the development of motor skills and the report of the academic period, it can be observed that there was little or no incidence of the development of motor skills in the improvement of the conceptual, procedural and attitudinal dimensions of the students' third grade

    Uso de estrategias lúdicas y su influencia en el aprendizaje de las matemáticas en los estudiantes de grado segundo y tercero del Centro Educativo Campo Galán del Municipio de Barrancabermeja, departamento de Santander-Colombia, en el año 2015

    This research aims to demonstrate the relationship between the use of play strategies versus mathematics learning, for the second and third grade students of the Campo Galán Educational Center, in the municipality of Barrancabermeja (Department of Santander-Colombia), in The year 2015; Applied to a population of seventy (70) students, under a sample of thirty-six (36) students (= 50%). The focus of this research is based on the students' lack of interest in mathematical thinking, which directly affects the achievement of the goals and objectives of this area; Without forgetting the relevance of the pedagogical processes in the search for innovative play strategies that strengthen these learnings, as well as the integral formation that the education of our children and young people offers. For the development of the project, a diagnostic questionnaire was carried out initially, with the purpose of specifying the causes that provoke this demotivation among students. This first approach took into account the cognitive dimension (content appropriation), the communicative dimension (appropriation of the area's own language), the axiological dimension (the sense of the area for an integral learning) and the praxisological dimension Of problems in their daily lives). A learning questionnaire was applied, given at the end of the process, in order to measure the degree of incidence of the various strategies applied, rescuing these contributions in favor of this learning; But also, extending their contributions to other areas, which -alsoshould seek new pedagogical horizons.
