This study allows us to recognize the importance of musical practices as an instrument for the development and strengthening of communicative, affective and socio-political abilities in children, in order to achieve a better coexistence in the home, school and community. strengthening values that contribute significantly to the consolidation of a more just, tolerant and equitable society that is contextualized in a framework of collaborative work at the nation level, where a history of violence of more than 50 years is ending. For the development of the research, we worked with a sample of 65 children, representing 77.38% of the 100% of the population under study. In addition, the research was of a non-experimental type with a causal correlational transection type design. On the other hand, an instrument was designed for the collection of data type survey, which allowed correlating aspects of music education with comprehensive education. This instrument was applied in a guided way, whose analysis allowed us to conclude that 100% of children (although in a different proportion), have seen in music a means that has allowed them to communicate effectively, develop a sense of belonging to their own culture, and / or increase their level of self-esteem and empathy with others.Publicación Acceso abierto Influencia del entorno familiar en los procesos de aprendizaje de las competencias comunicativas en los alumnos de primer grado del Colegio Agropecuario Puente Sogamoso en Puerto Wilches-Santander(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2017-11-17) Mellan Vesga, Jenny Natalia; Fabian Rojas, Lenin EnriqueThe influence of family environment determines the processes of student learning as the interest for the study is justified itself considering that the familiar microenvironment is the main area of growth and maturation of people during their childhood. That's why today, we still need further investigation of the environmental aspects related to learning and development of children, and specifically in the analysis of the influence of the family environment. This research will feature the participation of 36 first graders, of Colegio Agropecuario Puente Sogamoso, which will have two moments, before the intervention of parents' school, when an entrance test (assessment of prior learning) is applied and a second moment, experiences will be reviewed focused on the parent’s stimulations related to communicative competences. The results obtained after the investigation corroborate the hypothesis initially proposed. Parents' school formed to address education from a focus on product and process, is highly effective in promoting the improvement of the quality of students in communication skills, and to encourage their effective activation of cognitive processes.
