Ítem Acceso abierto Interpersonal relationships and job performance of nursing staff in the emergency service of a police hospital, 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-05-03) Vigo Herrera, Natali Otilia; Benavides Ugarte, Elizabeth Paola; Bonilla Asalde, Cesar AntonioObjective: To demonstrate the relationship between the intrinsic, extrinsic factors of Herzberg and the Management Positioning of the Nursing Department of the Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen National Hospital. Methodology: The study was conducted with a quantitative relational orientation that measured the connection of both variables. We worked with the population that comprised 75 nurses: department head nurse, supervisory nurses, service nurse nurses, and care nurses who had managerial positions at some time in that hospital. Results: The Spearman test was used to measure the relationship between Work Experience, remuneration, Attitude in management, status / power and Management Positioning where it was confirmed that there is a low and largely significant positive relationship between these two variables (p <0.01). Among the factors of Herzberg and Management Positioning, only work experience within the intrinsic factors presented a low and highly significant positive relationship with Management Positioning. Conclusion: The intrinsic and extrinsic factors of Herzberg are significantly related to the management position in the Nursing department of the Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen National Hospital.
