Adherence to treatment and quality of life in hypertensive persons attending a primary health care facility in Chorrillos, 2023

Objective: The purpose of the study is to determine how adherence to treatment is related to the quality of life in hypertensive people who attend a primary health care establishment in Chorrillos, 2023. Materials and methods: The quantitative approach and the correlational design were assumed. There was a sample of 116 patients with AHT, the technique used for data collection was the survey. The Morisky Green test and the MINICHAL were used as measurement instruments. Results: In the research hypothesis, there is a significant relationship between adherence to treatment and quality of life (p<0.05). In the specific hypotheses, a significant relationship was found in both cases (p<0.05). Conclusions: A significant link was found between the main variables.

La adherencia al TARGA y los niveles de carga viral de pacientes VIH en el Centro Materno Infantil San José, 2022-2023

Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre adherencia del TARGA y los niveles de carga viral de los pacientes que ingresaron con VIH en el Centro Materno Infantil San José durante el período del enero 2022 a enero 2023. Materiales y métodos: Se asumió bajo un enfoque cuantitativo y el diseño fue correlacional de tipo transversal. Un total de 83 informantes represento la muestra, siendo la técnica aplicada la encuesta. Los instrumentos utilizados fueron el Cuestionario CEAT-VIH y los datos de la carga viral registrados en las historias clínicas. Resultados: Hubo relación entre adherencia al tratamiento antirretroviral y carga viral (p<0,05). En la adherencia al tratamiento antirretroviral, prevaleció el valor adecuado (43,4%), seguido de estricto (33,7%), bajo (12%) e insuficiente (10,8%). Según dimensiones en cumplimiento del tratamiento prevaleció el valor adecuado (56,6%), en antecedentes de la falta a adherencia prevaleció el valor estricto (55,4%), en interacción médico y paciente el valor estricto (55,4), en creencias del paciente el valor estricto (56,6%), en estrategia para acordarse de tomar sus medicamentos, prevaleció el valor si (63,9%); finalmente, en carga viral prevaleció el valor indetectable (89,2%). Conclusiones: Existe relación entre adherencia al tratamiento antirretroviral y carga viral.

Atributos de la atención primaria de salud y percepción de la calidad de servicio en pacientes de consulta externa de un Hospital PNP Lima, 2024

Objetivo: determinar la relación entre el cumplimiento de los atributos de atención primaria y percepción de la calidad de servicio en pacientes de consulta externa de un Hospital PNP (Policía Nacional del Perú) Lima, 2024. Metodología: estudio de enfoque cuantitativo, básico, diseño no experimental, con una muestra de 165 participantes de consulta externa del Hospital PNP Luis N. Saenz, evaluados a través de cuestionarios validados para la obtención de datos, los cuáles fueron procesados de manera descriptiva e inferencial en concordancia con los objetivos propuestos por Rho de Spearman Resultados: se muestra correlación entre el cumplimiento de los atributos de la atención primaria y la percepción de calidad del servicio con un coeficiente de 0.735 (p = 0.000). Predominan mujeres (62.4%), adultos (47.3%) y adultos mayores (44.8%), con educación técnica o universitaria y tiempos de acceso al hospital entre una y tres horas (52.7%). Los atributos de atención primaria se relacionan moderadamente con elementos tangibles (Rho de Spearman de 0.469) y de forma fuerte con la fiabilidad (0.621), capacidad de respuesta (0.525), seguridad (0.675) y empatía (0.583), todos con p = 0.000, lo que resalta la importancia de estas dimensiones para la percepción positiva de la calidad del servicio. Conclusión: se evidenció una relación significativa entre el cumplimiento de los atributos de atención primaria y percepción de la calidad de servicio en pacientes de consulta externa de un Hospital PNP (Policía Nacional del Perú) Lima, 2024.

Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre los conocimientos sobre prevención de anemia y prácticas en madres de niños menores de dos años que acuden al consultorio de Crecimiento y Desarrollo de un Centro Materno Infantil en Lima, 2024. Materiales y métodos: El enfoque del presente estudio será el cuantitativo y su diseño metodológico será no experimental. La población será 145 madres de niños menores de dos años que acuden al consultorio de Crecimiento y Desarrollo. La muestra estará conformada por 105 madres. La técnica será la encuesta y los instrumentos serán los cuestionarios de conocimientos y prácticas sobre prevención de anemia. El procesamiento y análisis de datos se obtendrá realizando el programa SPSS.

Cultura de seguridad y gestión de riesgos en profesionales de la salud en el primer nivel de atención, Ayacucho – Perú, 2023

Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre la cultura de seguridad y la gestión de riesgos en profesionales de la salud de establecimientos del primer nivel de atención en la Red de Salud Ayacucho Norte, Ayacucho- Perú, 2023. Materiales y métodos: Estudio de enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental, correlacional transversal, tuvo una población de 186 profesionales de la salud y una muestra final de 130 participantes. Se empleo para la recolección de datos dos cuestionarios. Para la comprobación de hipótesis los datos se analizaron con el coeficiente de Spearman. Resultados: Se evidencio que la cultura de seguridad (74.6%) y la gestión de riesgos (74.6%) fueron negativas. Las pruebas de hipótesis mostraron una correlación positiva significativa entre cultura de seguridad (p=0.012), clima de trabajo en equipo (p=0.019), Clima de seguridad (p=0.007), percepción de la gestión (p=0.023) y condiciones de trabajo (p=0.018) con la gestión de riesgos, mientras que con satisfacción laboral (p=0.202) y reconocimiento del estrés (p=0.171) no existe relación.

Cumplimiento de los atributos de la atención primaria y niveles de satisfacción del usuario en el servicio de medicina del Centro de Salud San Martín de Porres Confraternidad, Lima 2023

Objetivo: La indagación tuvo como fin identificar la relación que existe entre los atributos de la atención primaria y los niveles de satisfacción del usuario del servicio de medicina del Centro de Salud San Martín de Porres Confraternidad, Lima 2023. Metodología: Se efectuó un estudio del tipo cuantitativo, de enfoque no experimental y de corte transversal, se caracterizó por utilizar dos instrumentos con escala Likert para medir la percepción de 150 usuarios que hicieron uno del servicio de atención primaria y a su vez se busca medir su nivel de satisfacción. La muestra fue elegida mediante muestreo aleatorio simple, considerando a los usuarios de 18 a 65 años que recibieron atención durante el 2023. Resultados: Se identificó una correlación positiva alta (rho = 0.686, p < 0.05) entre la atención primaria y la de satisfacción del usuario. Así como, las dimensiones de accesibilidad, competencia del personal, infraestructura y continuidad de la atención mostraron correlaciones positivas sustanciales con la satisfacción. Conclusiones: Se concluye que, la atención primaria y sus elementos puede aumentar sustancialmente la satisfacción del usuario del servicio de medicina.

Cumplimiento del esquema de vacunación y factores asociados a su incumplimiento en niños menores de 5 años atendidos en el Centro de Salud Juan Pérez Carranza en el periodo enero-diciembre 2023

Introducción: La investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la frecuencia de cumplimiento del esquema de vacunación (EV) e identificar factores asociados a su incumplimiento en niños menores de 5 años atendidos en el Centro de Salud Juan Pérez Carranza (CSJPC) durante enero a diciembre de 2023. Metodología: Se utilizó un enfoque hipotético-deductivo y cuantitativo, con diseño observacional, analítico y de corte transversal. Se realizó un análisis univariado, bivariado y de regresión logística, considerando significancia estadística en p<0,005. La muestra estuvo conformada por 200 niños y sus cuidadores. Resultados: La frecuencia de cumplimiento de vacunación fue del 75.0%. Se identificaron factores asociados al incumplimiento relacionados con la madre o cuidador principal, incluyendo tener 29 años o menos (ORa=2.945; IC:1.003-8.651; p=0.049), ser analfabeta o tener educación primaria o secundaria (ORa=8.004; IC :2.049-31.269; p=0.003), estar desempleada (ORa=7.117; IC:2.545-19.903; p<0.001) y tener un solo hijo (ORa=3.965; IC:1.383-11.366; p=0.010). En los niños, los factores asociados incluyen una edad menor a un año como factor protector (ORa=0.274; IC:0.083-0.909; p=0.034) y ser de sexo masculino (ORa=2.895; IC:1.170-7.163; p= 0,021). También se observará riesgo asociado al bajo peso al nacer (<2500 g) y al nacimiento macrosómico (>4000 g) (ORa=8.117; IC:2.295-28.705; p=0.001). Conclusiones: El incumplimiento del EV es frecuente (1 de cada 4 casos) y está relacionado con factores de la madre o cuidador principal y del niño menor de 5 años.

Determinantes asociados a la realización de tamizajes de cáncer de cuello uterino en mujeres en edad fértil del Centro de Salud San Antonio, Perú, 2025

Introducción: El cáncer de cuello uterino sigue afectando agresivamente el bienestar femenino, pese a contar con métodos eficaces de detección precoz como el Papanicolaou y la IVAA. Objetivo: Establecer los determinantes asociados a la realización de tamizajes de cáncer de cuello uterino en mujeres en edad fértil del Centro de Salud San Antonio, Perú, 2025. Metodologìa: Cuantitativo, aplicado, no experimental, analítico relacional prospectivo y transversal en una muestra de 83 mujeres de edad fértil atendidas en el Centro de Salud San Antonio mediante un cuestionario. Resultados: El 70% se realizó la citología cervical, mientras que solo el 47% se sometieron al tamizaje de IVAA. Los determinantes personales asociados fueron: edad, estado civil, grado de instrucción, religión, miedo y vergüenza ante los procedimientos. Además, los determinantes obstétricos asociados fueron: la gestación, la andría, el antecedente familiar de cáncer de cuello uterino y el uso de anticonceptivos. Finalmente, los determinantes institucionales asociados fueron: la atención recibida por el prestador sanitario, el sexo del prestador y la recomendación del mismo. Se concluyó que existen determinantes personales, obstétricos e institucionales asociados a la realización de tamizajes de cáncer de cuello uterino en mujeres en edad fértil del Centro de Salud San Antonio, Perú, 2025.

Effectiveness of delayed clamping versus umbilical cord milking in preventing neonatal anemia in the first level of care

Objective: Systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of delayed clamping compared to umbilical cord milking in the prevention of newborn anemia at the first level of care. Material and methods: a systematic review was carried out. The population was made up of 28 articles, to which selection criteria were applied. The sample was made up of 10 articles. Results: 40% come from the United States, 20% come from India, 10% come from Japan, 10% Sri Lanka, 10% Korea, 10% Iran. Depending on the type of design, 60% were randomized clinical trials, 30% used a cohort design, and 10% were a systematic review plus meta-analysis. Regarding the evidence, 60% found no significant differences between late clamping compared to milking the umbilical cord for the prevention of anemia in newborns. 20% found evidence of the effectiveness of cord milking compared to delayed clamping. 10% found evidence of effectiveness of delayed clamping compared to milking. 10% found evidence of the effectiveness of using the two procedures simultaneously for the prevention of anemia. Conclusions: there are no significant differences in the effectiveness of late clamping and milking of the umbilical cord for the prevention of anemia in newborns at the first level of care.

The effectiveness of educational intervention programs for the prevention of HIV and STIs in healthy adolescents in primary health care

Objective: Systematize evidence on the effectiveness of educational intervention programs for the prevention of HIV and STIs in healthy adolescents in primary health care. Material and Method: The systematic review is a synthesis of the literature, which attributes high evidence on the effectiveness of interventions on related topics in the area of health, subjected to critical selection, using the GRADE evaluation system for the identification of the degree of evidence, disseminated in the following databases Scielo, Lilacs, Medline, Ebsco, Pubmed. Of the 10 scientific articles systematically reviewed, 20% (n=2/10) are systematic reviews and 80% (n=8/10) are quasi-experimental studies. According to the results obtained from the systematic review carried out in the present study, they come from the countries of Brazil (10%), Spain (10%) and Cuba (80%). Results: 10/10 of the articles reviewed show that an education program is effective for the prevention of HIV and STIs in healthy adolescents. Conclusions: an education program is effective for the prevention of HIV and STIs in healthy adolescents using participatory methodology that includes recreational activities, role plays, debates, use of technology, educational games and reflective activities. conferences, videos, round tables, posters, brochures, audiovisual spot programs.

Estrés en personal de enfermería de emergencia del primer nivel de atención durante la atención de pandemia, Rímac, 2020

Este estudio analiza el estrés en enfermeras de un servicio de emergencia durante la pandemia. Es importante investigar esta variable ya que él puede tener un impacto en no solo a nivel individual, sino que puede afectar la capacidad de la enfermera para atender adecuadamente a los pacientes. El enfoque que se uso es cuantitativo, diseño transversal, y descriptivo. La población es conformada por los profesionales de enfermería del servicio tópico de emergencia de 4 establecimientos del primer nivel de atención, pertenecientes al distrito del Rímac, durante la pandemia COVID-19 El estrés laboral representa las reacciones de los individuos ante una exigencia o presión laboral las cuales no están acorde a su conocimiento y capacidad. Variable: Estrés en profesionales de enfermería de emergencia, la técnica es la encuesta. El instrumento a utilizar es la Escala de Estrés en Enfermería (NSS-siglas en ingles) la escala de estrés de enfermería (NSS) es el instrumento más popular y ampliamente utilizado para examinar los factores de estrés en enfermería dentro de una variedad de entornos laborales. Según el cronograma establecido se procederá a la aplicación del instrumento, el cual se realizará antes del ingreso a la guardia en el tópico de emergencia. La duración de la aplicación será de 20 minutos, siendo la propia investigadora la encargada de la aplicación. Luego se trasladará a una matriz en el programa SPSS 25, en el cual se realizará un análisis descriptivo, Se solicitará una carta de presentación a la Universidad Norbert Wiener, la cual será llevada a los establecimientos de salud para solicitar el permiso respectivo. Una vez obtenido el permiso, se coordinará con los médicos jefes y enfermeras encargadas de los tópicos de emergencia de dichos establecimientos para proceder a la obtención de datos. Ello se realizará previo cronograma establecido.

Factors associated with the nutritional status of children under two years old at the Primary Care Center II Paramonga, Lima 2020

Objectives: Determine the factors associated with the nutritional status of children under 2 years of age at the Paramonga Primary Care Center. Materials and Methods: Quantitative approach, basic type, relational level, cross-sectional, with non-experimental design. The result of the study will establish the improvements that are proposed to avoid nutritional problems, improving the quality of life and health of the child population. The population in this study will consist of 70 mothers who are users of the CAP-Paramonga growth and development clinic service who meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The instrument to be used will be a questionnaire with 22 questions and nutritional assessment, developing through determination, an association relationship between the categorical variables. (chi square) The association of categorical variables (asymmetric) is shown explicitly in relative frequency tables conditioned with the marginal distribution of the response variable, a (p<0.05) is expected to demonstrate an association of variables.

Family functionality and quality of life in older adults who attend a primary care facility, Comas 2022

Objective: Determine the relationship between family functionality and quality of life in older adults who attend a primary care facility, comas 2022. Materials and methods: Quantitative approach, non-experimental design, descriptive and correlational level. The method used was hypothetical deductive. The population was made up of 90 older adults cared for in a primary care facility, Comas. The sample was census, the type of sampling was non-probabilistic, intentional. Results: In the inferential analysis, the statistical test used was the Chi square statistic (X2). To measure family functioning, the Family Apgar instrument was used, comprising 5 items grouped into 5 dimensions (adaptation, participation, gain, affection and resources), and for quality of life, the WhoQol Bref instrument was used, which measures 4 dimensions ( physical health, psychological health, social relationships and the environment) through 24 questions, additionally 1 question is considered on the global perception of your CV and 1 question on global satisfaction with your health.

Knowledge and practices about exclusive breastfeeding in mothers of children under 6 months old care at Collique III zona health center, Comas 2023

General objective: To determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and practices on exclusive breastfeeding in children under 6 months of age treated at the Collique III zone health center, Comas 2023. Materials and methods: quantitative approach, nonexperimental design, descriptive and correlational level. The method used was hypothetical deductive. The population was made up of 75 mothers of children under 6 months of age cared for in the Collique III zone establishment, Comas. The sample was census. The type of test was non-probabilistic, intentional. Statistical analysis was performed using Chisquare X2. Results: the average age of the mothers was 26.56 years. Regarding the level of education of the mothers, 61.3% (n=46) had secondary school, the level of knowledge was high in 48% (n=36) of mothers, medium in 32% (n=24) and low in 20% (n=15). 81.3% (n=61) of mothers had adequate breastfeeding practices, while 18.7% (n=14) had inadequate practices. The value of X2=13.268 and p value 0.001, therefore, there is a statistically significant relationship between the level of knowledge and practices on breastfeeding. Conclusions: There is a significant relationship between the level of knowledge and practices on exclusive breastfeeding in children under 6 months of age attended at the Collique III zone health center, Comas 2023.

Vaccines are the fundamental pillar to be able to control vaccine-preventable diseases, therefore in the field of health, health workers are one of the most vulnerable populations due to direct contact with the population they serve, many of them carrying diseases. . Throughout the events during pandemics one after another, in order to control these diseases, vaccines have been the main protagonists in control, and a reduction in mortality from these diseases has been evident. For this reason, all personnel in the health field must be vaccinated as an example of taking care of themselves and their environment. The purpose of this study to be carried out is to determine the relationship between the variables to be studied, the Level of knowledge about immunization and Compliance with the vaccination schedule in health personnel at the first level of care in the Pachacútec Micronetwork -Ventanilla, 2022. It will be a Quantitative approach, descriptive-correlational cross-sectional level. The sample population will be made up of 300 health professionals, of which 168 will be taken as a sample through simple random probabilistic sampling. To collect the information, the survey will be used as a technique and a questionnaire validated by Sotomayor and Farfán (2021) will be used as an instrument, which will allow the variables under study to be measured. The results that will be obtained will allow us to relate the level of knowledge about immunization and compliance with the vaccination schedule in health personnel.

The objective of the study is to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and the initial care of polytrauma patients among nursing professionals working in the emergency service of the Cayetano Heredia Emergency Hospital, Rímac, Lima, Peru - 2021. A descriptive, cross-sectional, correlational, and applicative study will be conducted. Two instruments will be applied to 24 nursing professionals, with good reliability: one with a Cronbach's alpha of 0.87 and the other with a Cronbach's alpha of 0.895.

The target population will include 400 caregivers, with a sample size of 196 primary caregivers. The Zarit Caregiver Burden Scale will be used to measure the caregiver burden variable, while the WHOQOL-BREF quality of life questionnaire will be used to measure the quality of life variable.

Level of self-care practices in patients receiving treatment against tuberculosis in a primary care center in San Juan de Miraflores

The care of people is carried out in permanent interaction, and the scientific knowledge of nursing professionals who directly express the educational and supervision strategies to the person in need of care is essential. The efficiency and effectiveness of its functions depends on this, both in the human aspect and in compliance with the procedures to be carried out with the patient and family. TB alters the quality of life of users. Likewise, when diagnosed it represents great changes in their lifestyle for the user: a costly increase in economic spending and psychological changes, as well as for the family and the State. Furthermore, users require special care regarding TB, as they are considered a labile and risk group, so it is essential to safeguard their full well-being. It is vitally important to determine the level of self-care practices in patients receiving treatment against tuberculosis. The study will help lay the foundations for future research, with the results obtained we will be able to identify what or which areas we must reinforce during patient education, likewise during treatment supervision it will allow us to focus on the precise care that helps to have success of the treatment and with the contributions provided, reduce abandonment rates.

Currently, type II DM is a public health issue, and its prevalence is one of the leading causes of death in the population, especially due to the chronic complications that arise during its progression, which involve high financial costs and monitoring for its management. This study aims to contribute to knowledge about the lifestyle habits of patients with type II DM who are cared for by nursing staff using the IMEVID scale. The results will facilitate the implementation of new strategies to optimize preventive-promotional activities and effectively address the identified issues in the six dimensions: Nutrition, physical activity, harmful habits, information about diabetes, emotional state, and therapeutic adherence. The final result will categorize healthy living conditions from 55 to 108 points, and unhealthy from 0 to 54 points. The information will be available to the staff working at the health center, implementing workshops and providing alternatives through nursing counseling.
