El objetivo fue plasmado para verificar la existencia de relación entre anemia Ferropénica y desarrollo Psicomotor. El enfoque cuantitativo fue la metodología empleada, de diseño correlacional, transversal, teniendo un alcance descriptivo sin diseño experimental, la muestra utilizada fue de 60 niños desde los 6 a 24 meses de edad. El instrumento que se aplicará consiste en una recolección de datos mediante el uso de las historias clínicas y el EEDP como instrumento de evaluación. Resultados, se verificó significancia menor a 0.05 mediante Chi cuadrado. Se concluye que tiene una estrecha relación en el niño y su desarrollo psicomotor, lo que se recomienda en capacitar a las madres que recurren puntualmente a su control CRED, brindarles un seguimiento en la alimentación adecuada, adherencia al tratamiento de hierro en alimentos, desparasitación y entre otros.Ítem Acceso abierto Attitude of mothers of children aged 6 to 35 months and their relation to micronutrient supplementation at the primary care center of Breña, Lima-2018(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-02-06) Ipanaqué Martínez, Patricia Yanet; Taype Guevara, Caty Juana; Glenni Garay, Zarely ZabeliObjective: Determine the relationship that exists between the attitude of mothers of children from 6 to 35 months of age and the supply of micronutrients at the Primary Care Center in Breña. Material and methods: The approach was quantitative, descriptive, correlational and cross-sectional. The sample was made up of 116 mothers of children from 6 to 35 months of age. Results: The study sample presents an attitude of the mothers that is not very appropriate at 56.9% and that is inadequate at 43.1%. It should be noted that none of the mothers surveyed presented an adequate attitude. The inadequate effect is repeated in its three dimensions: cognitive, 100%; affective with 98.3%; and the behavioral dimension, with 97.4%. Regarding the second variable, micronutrient supply, it was found that 93.1% have a poorly adequate supply. 93.1% show adequate preparation and administration of micronutrients. Regarding side effects, 57.8% were adequate, however, the monitoring of supplementation was inadequate in 49.1%. El estudio empleó el método hipotético-deductivo, con un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo aplicada, con un diseño no experimental, de corte transversal y nivel correlacional. La población de estudio estuvo conformada por 100 madres de niños de 6 a 24 meses que asistían al Centro de Salud Materno Infantil Magdalena, Lima, durante el año 2024. Para la recolección de datos se utilizó la técnica de la encuesta y los instrumentos fueron dos cuestionarios: uno para evaluar el conocimiento sobre la prevención de la anemia ferropénica, compuesto por 13 ítems, y otro para medir las prácticas preventivas, conformado por 10 ítems. Los resultados revelaron una correlación negativa muy baja (Rho= -0,065) y no significativa (p=0,520) entre el conocimiento sobre la prevención de la anemia ferropénica y las prácticas en madres de niños de 6 a 24 meses. En conclusión, no se evidencia asociación significativa (p= >0,05) entre el conocimiento y las prácticas sobre la prevención de anemia ferropénica en madres. In Peru, iron deficiency anemia is a serious public health problem affecting 46.6% of children. children at very early ages between 6 months and the first year of life, this situation being the same as that observed in the growth and development clinic of the Viña San Francisco health facility in the Santa Anita district, where the percentage of Anemia in 6-month-old infants reaches 39.8%, a figure that remains high in the first half of 2019 despite the health intervention strategies carried out to reduce cases of anemia in the target population. Objective: Describe the determining factors of anemia in 6-month-old infants. Method: The study has a quantitative approach, descriptive, cross-sectional and prospective, presenting a single main variable, the techniques used were documentary analysis and the interview and the instruments used were the monitoring sheet and the questionnaire applied to the mothers of 6-month-old infants with anemia, the population being the total number of infants, which was 27, constituting a census. Results: During the study period, it was identified that, of the total number of infants with anemia, 70.3% had mild anemia, 25.9% had moderate anemia and 3.7% had severe anemia, with the female sex prevailing with 59.2%. Regarding the determining factors of anemia, present: 25.9% of mothers had a history of anemia during pregnancy, it was identified that 85.1% of infants received iron supplementation at the health facility with timely initiation of the supplement and of them 51.7% consumed it in less than 2 months and 56.5% did not consume it daily, with poor adherence to prophylactic treatment. Regarding the type of feeding, 51.8% of the infants did not receive exclusive breastfeeding, its varieties being mixed, artificial breastfeeding and consumption of cow's milk. 1 infant with a history of prematurity and 2 infants with low birth weight were identified; however, none received prophylactic iron supplementation. 55.5% of infants had their complete vaccination for their age, 70.3% of infants did not have complete growth and development controls for their age. In relation to prevalent diseases, 44.4% of infants with anemia presented diarrheal disease and respiratory infections and of them 3 infants were hospitalized. It has been identified that more than 70% of mothers of infants are unaware of the consequences of anemia during pregnancy, the irreversible effects suffered by the child with anemia in their adult life and the areas of psychomotor development that are affected in the child. with anemia. Conclusions: From the results obtained, it is concluded that the majority of infants in the study had mild or slight anemia, with a predominance of the female sex. A good percentage of the infants began iron supplementation in a timely manner at the health facility. However, More than half of them did not comply with the treatment on a regular basis, identifying difficulties in adherence to treatment. The 10 selected articles were obtained from databases such as: PubMed, Scielo, Elsevier, Lilacs, Dialnet, Cochrane and Epistemonikos. 40% are randomized clinical trials, 20% are systematic reviews – meta-analyses, 10% are prospective non-randomized cohort studies, 10% are randomized controlled experimental studies, 10% are double-blind randomized intervention studies, and 10% are prospective experimental studies. and longitudinal. The observational and retrospective Systematic Review methodology was used, the search was restricted to 10 full-text scientific articles published in Spanish, English and Portuguese, no older than 10 years. The selected articles were subjected to a critical reading to identify their level of evidence. Finding as a result that 90% of articles show that nebulization with Hypertonic Saline Solution is effective in the treatment of bronchiolitis, reducing severity scores and hospital stay in infants and infants. Also the remaining 10% only show a reduction in hospital stay. Material and methods: The systematic review of 10 scientific articles from the following database Scielo, Pubmed, Epistemonikos, all analyzed according to the Grade scale to determine their strength and quality of evidence. Results: 80% of the evidence shows effectiveness in terms of respiratory techniques: vibrations, prolonged slow expiration, nebulization with 3% hypertonic saline solution, aspiration of secretions and postural drainage and 20% conclude that vibrations and percussion can cause vomit. Conclusion: 8 out of 10 evidence points to the different respiratory techniques: vibrations, aspiration of secretions, nebulization, postural drainage and prolonged slow expiration are effective in improving respiratory rate and clinical status in infants. MATERIAL AND METHOD: The study has a systematic, observational and retrospective review design; of articles with full text, which identified their grade or quality of evidence according to the Grade System. Likewise, the population was made up of 10 articles obtained from the following databases Pubmed, Medline, Embase, Cochrane Library, Dialnet, Scielo, and Lilacs. Of which 90% correspond to randomized clinical studies and 10% to systematic review design, corresponding to the countries of Iran 20%, Spain 20%, Italy 10%, South Africa 10%, Nigeria 10%, Brazil 10%, Chile 10% and Colombia 10%. RESULTS: Of the 10 articles reviewed, 100% demonstrate the effectiveness of universal hearing loss screening tests in newborns to prevent deterioration in language development. Materials and methods: Systematic Review, observational and retrospective research design, the search has been restricted to articles with full text, and the selected articles were subjected to a critical reading according to the degree of evidence that synthesizes the results of 01 Meta-analysis and 03 scientific articles that demonstrate the powerful bactericidal activity of the use of dressings with Chlorhexidine for central venous catheters as a preventive measure against bloodstream infections. Results: 1 meta-analysis and 3 articles were chosen in which we found that 50% (02) correspond to the United States with 25% (01), we find France and Israel with 25% (01) respectively. Of the total number of articles analyzed, 100% affirm the effectiveness of the use of dressings with chlorhexidine for CVC in the prevention of bacteremia and infections. The meta-analysis included 9 primary studies that showed a significant reduction in the incidence of infections due to colonization of the central venous catheter as well as bloodstream infection. A randomized trial demonstrated that the use of dressings impregnated with Chlorhexidine gel decreases the rate of CRF in ICU patients with a central venous catheter. A prospective comparative trial provided excellent results of bactericidal and antimicrobial action of the use of transparent dressings impregnated with CHG and finally a randomized controlled study was carried out in a pediatric cardiac intensive unit where gluconate sponge impregnated with chlorhexidine is safe and significantly reduces rates. of CVC colonization in infants and children after cardiac surgery. Design: The study was a qualitative systematic review. Scope of study: This study was carried out through an exhaustive review of scientific studies published in different virtual databases. Study subjects: The sample was made up of 25 articles published in indexed journals during an interval of no more than 5 years. Instrumentation: For the study, the Grade system was used, which allowed us to evaluate each article. Results: Of the 30 articles selected, 25 of them had high quality according to the GRADE System. Of the articles studied and reviewed, those with the most frequency were; the relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and the nutritional status of the infant with 10 articles, followed by the relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and infectious respiratory diseases of the infant with 8 articles and the relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and gastro-intestinal infectious diseases of the infant. with 7 items. Max Arias Schreiber. Method: Quantitative; applied; retrospective; descriptive-correlational. The techniques used were interviews directed at mothers and document analysis, focusing on the review of medical records. The instruments used were the questionnaire and a checklist, respectively. The convenience sample consisted of 100 mothers. Results: Two-thirds (73%) of the mothers were between 21 and 34 years old. In maternal and institutional factors, the value of median limitation was notable. Regarding total adherence, slightly more than half of the mothers adhered in five dimensions, except for home visits. Discrepancies were found between what the mothers reported and what was observed in the document analysis, except in the area of comprehensive counseling. The alternative hypothesis was accepted: there is a relationship between maternal and institutional factors and adherence. Finally, Pearson’s R (-0.6) indicated that as maternal and institutional factors increased in difficulty, adherence decreased. Horacio Zevallos in Ate. Method: The study had a quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional approach, with the technique being the interview and documentary analysis. The instruments used were the questionnaire and checklist, and adherence was determined based on the clinical history. The sampling was probabilistic and consisted of 145 mothers. Results: The ages of the mothers that stood out the most were between 20 and 39 years old (58.6%); occupation as housewives (56.6%); in economic factors, household chores were the most prominent (66%); in the knowledge factor, the information provided by the nurse was considered little useful (76%); and in the institutional factor, the waiting time (79%). Regarding adherence to the growth and development control, 61% of the children did not comply with their scheduled controls and had one absence. Conclusions: It was observed that economic, knowledge, and institutional factors influence mothers' adherence. At a global level, in recent years, the percentages of children who receive the coverage of recommended vaccines to improve the health of the population have varied. Thus, throughout the world, it was achieved that 85% of infants were administered three doses of ( DPT3) vaccine that protects against diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis infectious diseases that cause disorders, disabilities and even death where it finally achieved 90% coverage of this vaccine. Currently, vaccines protect children very well, but despite this, one in five children under 1 year of age does not receive the basic vaccines they need to survive and stay healthy. Objective: determine the relationship between knowledge about immunizations and compliance with the vaccination schedule in mothers of children under 5 years of age at the Barranca hospital - 2020 Methodology: A descriptive, non-experimental, cross-sectional study will be carried out. The study population will be made up of 132 mothers with children under 5 years of age who attend the vaccination center at the Barranca Hospital, to whom the questionnaire on Knowledge about Immunizations and Compliance with the Vaccination Schedule will be applied as an instrument. Materials and methods: The approach is quantitative, non-experimental, the method is hypothetical deductive, applied type, cross section. The sample will consist of 73 nursing mothers with children under 6 months. The instruments that will be used are adapted, validated and reliable. The instrument that was used was the interview and the instrument was a questionnaire with 14 questions to measure the knowledge variable and was determined through the following qualification, the following; Knowledge: High: 10-14, Medium: 5-9 and Low: 0-4. The instrument used is an observation guide of 16 questions to measure the practical variable. It was determined through the following score: Adequate (13-17) and Inadequate (< 12). Once the information is obtained, the process will be carried out with the statistical software SPSS version 26. The statistical analysis will be carried out using descriptive statistics using Sperman's correlation coefficient.
