Adherencia al tratamiento y calidad de vida del paciente oncológico de un instituto de enfermedades neoplásicas – Concepción, 2025

La adherencia al tratamiento en pacientes oncológicos es crucial para optimizar los resultados terapéuticos y mejorar su calidad de vida durante este largo proceso de lucha contra la enfermedad. Sin embargo, existen diversos factores que intervienen con la adherencia y que pudieran influir en las condiciones de vida; de esto deriva el Objetivo “determinar la relación entre adherencia al tratamiento y calidad de vida en pacientes oncológicos de un Instituto de Enfermedades Neoplásicas”; para ello se utilizará como Metodología un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo descriptivo y de diseño correlacional, cuya población estará compuesta por 197 pacientes de consultorios externos que reciben tratamiento de quimioterapia y/o radioterapia ambulatoria. Se empleará como técnica de estudio la encuesta para lo cual se hará uso de dos cuestionarios para la recolección de datos, para la variable 1 el cuestionario la escala sobre adherencia al tratamiento EAT y para la variable 2 respecto a la calidad de vida el cuestionario EORTC QLQ-30, finalmente los datos obtenidos se analizarán utilizando programas estadísticos como Microsoft Excel y el SPSS versión 22. En este estudio se utilizará la prueba estadística de correlación Rho Spearman.

Burden and quality of life of caregivers of patients with cancer in home palliative care at the Oncosalud Clinic, 2022.

The purpose of the study is to determine how the level of care overload is related to the quality of life of caregivers of cancer patients in palliative care who are cared for in the home area of an Oncology Clinic in Lima, 2022. A quantitative, applicative study with a correlational design. The population will be finite and will be made up of all 60 primary caregivers of terminal cancer patients who belong to the home service of an Oncology Clinic in Lima, during the period April and June 2022. For data collection, the "Zarit Care Burden Perception Interview - ZCBI" and the "Quality of life scale, family caregiver version of the cancer patient" developed by Betty Ferrell will be used, both have high validity and reliability. Finally, Spearman's correlation coefficient will be used for hypothesis testing, which will be shown in tables and figures for analysis and discussion.

Calidad de vida en pacientes oncológicos del Hospital Regional de Ica durante el año 2025

Esta investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la calidad de vida del paciente oncológico en el Servicio de Cirugía Oncológica del Hospital Regional de Ica en el año 2025. Se llevó a cabo con un enfoque cuantitativo de tipo básico, nivel descriptivo, diseño no experimental con corte transversal. La muestra consistió en 83 pacientes que cumplieron con criterios específicos de inclusión y exclusión. Los datos se recolectaron utilizando el EORTC QLQ-C30, un cuestionario validado internacionalmente para medir la calidad de vida en pacientes con cáncer, que incluye componentes como el bienestar físico, mental y social. El instrumento mostró una alta fiabilidad con un Alfa de Cronbach de 0.848, lo que indica un fuerte grado de consistencia de los ítems. Entre los resultados más significativos, el 57.8% de los pacientes informó una buena calidad de vida en el ámbito físico, el 62.7% informó una buena calidad de vida mental, y el 57.8% evaluó positivamente su calidad de vida social. Se concluyó que la mayoría de los pacientes continúa teniendo una percepción de su calidad de vida como favorable, especialmente en el aspecto mental, lo que subraya la importancia de proporcionar una atención oncológica integral que incluya apoyo clínico así como intervención psicológica y social.

Calidad del cuidado de enfermería y satisfacción de pacientes oncológicos que reciben quimioterapia en un hospital de Chincha 2024

Introducción: La investigación se realizará en un entorno en el que no solo es crucial que el individuo con cáncer tenga acceso a un servicio de buena calidad de atención, asimismo que se empeñe en garantizar un tratamiento humano y considerado en las instituciones de salud a las que asiste. Objetivo: Determinar de qué manera la calidad del cuidado de enfermería se relaciona con la satisfacción de pacientes oncológicos que reciben quimioterapia en un Hospital de Chincha, 2024. Método: Mediante una investigación correlacional, de diseño no experimental, y corte transversal, la muestra es censal conformada por 55 pacientes oncológicos que reciben quimioterapia en la Unidad Oncológica del Hospital San José de Chincha, la técnica será el cuestionario, mediante los instrumentos calidad del cuidado de enfermería adaptado por Espinoza y satisfacción del paciente adaptado por Delgado, validado por medio de juicio de expertos, con una confiabilidad de 0.92 y 0.98. la matriz de datos será exhibida a través del software Excel y se pretende que el procesamiento de datos se realice en SPSS V 26.00. para ejecutar los cálculos estadísticos correspondientes.

Coping strategies and quality of life in patients with breast cancer oncology outpatient services in a National Hospital of Lima 2022

Objective: This research has a quantitative approach, in terms of the methodological design it is descriptive and cross-sectional. The research was carried out in the Guillermo Almenara Hospital Outpatient Oncology Service where it was made up of patients with breast neoplasia. The data collection technique was the survey and the instrument used was the QLQ-C30 Questionnaire and the BRIEF COPE Inventory. Results: Of the 70 patients evaluated, 57.1% present a moderately Healthy Quality of Life, among the patients who use the Confronte coping strategies, 77.5% present a moderately healthy physical quality, among the patients who use the Confronte coping strategies. Confronte coping, 84.6% present a moderately healthy quality of social life, among the patients who use Confronte coping strategies, 79.3% present a psychological quality It's healthy. Conclusions: it was determined that there is a low significant relationship (Rho=407, p=0.000) between quality of life and coping strategies of patients with breast cancer.

This study aims to identify the different coping strategies in relation to the quality of life of cancer patients hospitalized at the National Institute of Neoplastic Diseases. The general problem is: What is the relationship between coping strategies and quality of life in cancer patients at the National Institute of Neoplastic Diseases during the period from January to March 2021? The objective is: "To determine the relationship between coping strategies and quality of life in oncology patients." The research has a non-experimental, deductive design, with a quantitative approach, a correlational scope, and a cross-sectional non-experimental design. The sample will consist of 66 patients, and the evaluation will be conducted using the Stress Coping Questionnaire for oncology patients and the quality of life questionnaire.

The specialty of oncology nursing is a little-researched field in the country, despite the difficult situation that is experienced in this environment, since the ravages inherent to this type of disease make it necessary to use various coping styles that help patients improve their quality of life. However, in the field of the National Institute of Neoplastic Diseases it has been detected that it is difficult for them to assume these strategies, putting at risk the treatment to achieve their recovery and, therefore, the possibility of preserving their life. Objective: to determine the relationship between coping styles and quality of life in cancer patients at the National Institute of Neoplastic Diseases, Lima - 2021 Materials and methods: the research will be quantitative, basic, descriptive-correlational, non-experimental and cross-sectional. The study sample will be 324 patients. The technique will be the survey and the instruments will be the EORTC-QLQ-C30 quality of life questionnaire and the CAEPO questionnaire for coping with stress in cancer patients.

Efecto de un programa de ejercicios sobre la fatiga en pacientes mastectomizados del Hospital Nacional Edgardo Rebagliati Martins, 2022

El presente estudio titulado “Efecto de un programa de ejercicios sobre la fatiga en pacientes mastectomizadas del Hospital Nacional Edgardo Rebagliati Martins, 2022” tuvo como objetivo evaluar el impacto de un programa fisioterapéutico en la reducción de la fatiga relacionada al cáncer (FRC) en mujeres que han sido sometidas a mastectomía. La fatiga es uno de los síntomas más frecuentes e incapacitantes en pacientes con cáncer de mama, afectando dimensiones físicas, emocionales, cognitivas y sensoriales. Se utilizará un diseño preexperimental con enfoque cuantitativo, aplicando un programa de ejercicios durante 12 semanas, con sesiones de 60 a 90 minutos, tres veces por semana. La muestra estará compuesta por 50 mujeres entre 40 y 60 años, que completaran su tratamiento de quimioterapia. La fatiga se medirá antes y después de la intervención mediante la Escala de Fatiga de Piper, evaluando sus distintas dimensiones. Los resultados esperados apuntan a una disminución significativa de los niveles de fatiga, con mejoras en la tolerancia al ejercicio y la calidad de vida. Este estudio respalda el uso del ejercicio como herramienta terapéutica no farmacológica, proponiendo su inclusión como parte del tratamiento integral en unidades de rehabilitación oncológica a nivel hospitalario.

Effectiveness in the intervention of nursery to offers a better attention and a better quality of life to the oncology patients

Objective: Systematize the evidence of the effectiveness in the intervention of nursery to offers a better attention and a better quality of life to the oncology patients. Material and Methods: Systematic inspection quantitative type, subdued by a critical selection, using the Grade’s systems for the identification of the evidences founded of the grade on the next database: Pubmed, Sciencedirect, Cochrane, all of it respond to the quantitative type and the designs of the study systematic inspection, goal- analysis, cohort study. According to the study obtained the systematic inspection on the present study, showed of the 10 academical research examined systematically the 50% (n= 5/10) is systematic inspection, the 40% (4/10) is cohort study and the 10% (1/10) is goal- analysis. According to the results obtained from the systematic inspection made on the present study, come from the countries like Spain (30%), Belgium (10%), USA (10%), Chile (10%), China (10%), Germany (10%), Cuba (10%) and Colombia (10%). Results: As well, the evidences founded the 100% (n= 10/10) point at the effectiveness in the intervention of nursery to offers a better attention and a better quality of life to the oncology patients. Conclusion: The effectiveness in the intervention of nursery offers a better attention and a better quality of life. The interventions offered by the nurse in the most of the cases managed an improvement on the patient with cancer and in the knowledge of the family.

Effectiveness of parenteral nutrition in the improvement of body mass index in hospitalized adult patients with neoplasias of the digestive tract

Objective: To systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of parenteral nutrition in improving body mass index in hospitalized adult patients with digestive tract neoplasms. Material and Methods: Systematic reviews are an observational and retrospective research design that synthesizes the results of multiple secondary studies. The population includes 10 scientific articles considered as the bibliographic observation units, published and indexed in scientific databases. Data collection was carried out through a thorough, rigorous, and systematic review using websites such as Scielo, NCBI, Dialnet, among others. Results: Articles: Netherlands 10% (1/10), Taiwan 10% (1/10), France 10% (1/10), Mexico 10% (1/10), China 30% (3/10), Germany 20% (2/10), and Cuba 10% (1/10). Furthermore, the reviewed scientific studies included a prospective design in 50% (5/10), clinical trials in 30% (3/10), cross-sectional studies in 10% (2/10), and systematic reviews in 10% (1/10). Conclusion: According to the results obtained from the systematic review, it is shown that, of the total 10 articles reviewed, 100% (n=10/10) indicate that parenteral nutrition in hospitalized adult patients with digestive tract neoplasms is effective in improving body mass index. This is because BMI parameters in cancer patients promote nutritional support control. However, most of these patients experience malnutrition, which is more prevalent than obesity.

Objective: To determine the relationship between emotional support from nursing professionals and stress coping in oncology patients undergoing chemotherapy at the Hospital Nacional Dos de Mayo in 2022. Methodology: This study adopts a quantitative approach with a correlational design and a descriptive scope. The population consists of patients diagnosed with cancer and receiving treatment at the Hospital Nacional Dos de Mayo. The sample comprises 80 patients. Data collection will be conducted using the Lazarus and Folkman Stress Coping Scale, validated by Aguilar, Jimenes, and Calderón (2008). This instrument was validated with factorial values of 0.64 and 0.87, indicating high statistical significance. The reliability, measured by Cronbach's alpha, was 0.87, which is considered optimal. Data Collection and Analysis: The collected data will be analyzed and tabulated using Excel software. The results will be presented in tables and graphs.

El trabajo del enfermero que se efectúa con pacientes oncológicos es sumamente sensible, debido al proceso que atraviesan durante su tratamiento. En ese sentido, se ha podido detectar las dificultades que atraviesan para afrontar la enfermedad, debido a los graves estragos que genera el cáncer y a la incertidumbre que les produce, panorama que los expone a empeorar su calidad de vida y reduce la posibilidad de recuperación. OBJETIVO: Determinar la relación entre las estrategias de afrontamiento y la calidad de vida en pacientes oncológicos de una clínica privada de Lima, 2025. MATERIALES Y MÉTODOS: cuantitativo, descriptivo y correlacional. Se considerarán a 80 pacientes. Se empleará la encuesta y los instrumentos serán el cuestionario de afrontamiento al estrés en pacientes oncológicos (CAEPO) conformado por 40 preguntas para medir la variable estrategias de afrontamiento y el cuestionario de calidad de vida EORTC QLQ-C30, con 30 ítems.

Factores relacionados a las reacciones adversas medicamentosas en pacientes oncológicos hospitalizados de la clínica internacional sede San Borja, periodo 2022-2024

Las reacciones adversas a medicamentos (RAM) abarcan, aproximadamente, del 10 al 12% de las consultas recibidas en las unidades de Alergia en hospitales y clínicas; no obstante, de acuerdo con varios estudios, se demuestra que muchos son tolerantes. Para hacer frente a esta problemática para que ayude a la investigación se formuló el siguiente objetivo fue Determinar cómo los factores sociodemográficos se relacionan con las reacciones adversas medicamentosas en pacientes oncológicos hospitalizados de la Clínica Internacional. Por otro lado, la investigación se desarrolló teniendo en cuenta la metodología que se fundamenta en el tipo de investigación básica, enfoque cuantitativo, nivel correlacional, el método hipotético deductivo, el diseño de estudio es no experimental, transversal. El estudio se llevó acabo con una población de 100 formatos de reacciones adversas medicamentosas en pacientes oncológicos hospitalizados la misma se comportó como muestra. Asimismo, los resultados obtenidos que se obtuvieron. En la estadística descriptiva el género que presenta más reacciones adversas son el femenino, el factor antropométrico que más presenta son los pacientes con obesidad, el sistema que más atacan las reacciones adversas es al sistema nervioso, por otro lado, con respecto a la estadística inferencial se puede mencionar que se prueban todas las hipótesis alternas y se rechazan las nulas. La conclusión a la que se llega es que se probó que existe relación entre las RAM en pacientes oncológicos hospitalizados.

Interacciones medicamentosas en pacientes oncológicos en clínica internacional en sede San Borja, Lima 2023

Tuvo como objetivo determinar la distribución de interacciones medicamentosas en paciente oncológicos de la Clínica Internacional en la sede San Borja Lima 2023. Métodos: Estudio de método deductivo, cuantitativo, básico, de diseño no experimental, descriptivo, retrospectivo se ha llevado a cabo en la Clínica Internacional Sede San Borja Lima. La población de 108 datos de intervenciones de farmacéuticas de pacientes oncológicos y cuya muestra de 85 casos de pacientes oncológicos, para la detección de las interacciones medicamentosas se analizado con el con el programa Uptodate- Lexicomp para el recojo de los datos del año 2022. Resultados: El sexo masculino se presentó el 51,8 % (44), mientras que el sexo femenino el 48,2 % (41), el tipo de interacion que predomino fue la farmacodinamia con un 67,1 % (57), mientras que el tipo de interacción de farmacocinética fue 32,9 % (28), Conclusión: La distribución de interacciones medicamentosas más frecuentes se observo en los pacientes oncológicos del sexo masculino, en promedio de edad de 40 años a más de edad, los síntomas más comunes fueron náusea y vómito, de tipo farmacodinamia, de grado moderado, y se detectado interacciones medicamentosas con los antibióticos y otros fármacos administrados.

Knowledge and care of the central venous catheter in nurses of the oncology service of a private clinic, Lima-2022

Introduction: At present, cancer patients are more frequently seen to be carriers of a Central Venous Catheter, which is why knowledge and care of them is relevant, for this reason, the present objective is to "determine the relationship between the Knowledge and care of the central venous catheter in nurses of the oncology service of a private clinic, Lima-2022. Method: quantitative, descriptive, correlational and cross-sectional. The population will be made up of 35 nursing professionals, for this reason it will not have a sample since it will work with the total population, the instruments that will be applied are two questionnaires, one that will measure the knowledge variable and the other central venous catheter care variable. They will carry out the corresponding coordination with the authorities of the private clinic to carry out the surveys, after which a database will be created in the statistical software SPSS V25. To test the hypothesis, Spearman's RHO will be used, the results will be shown through graphs and tables, which will be used to compare the results with the background in the discussion and will allow conclusions and recommendations to be obtained.

The objective of the study is to “Determine the relationship between the level of knowledge about self-care and the quality of life of users undergoing chemotherapy treatment in the oncology service of a hospital in Lima, 2022.” The type applied is applied, with a quantitative approach, non-experimental, cross-sectional and correlational design, 82 people from the oncology service made up the sample, also, since it is a small population for the study, the sample will be census, on the other hand, two will be used validated instruments such as the questionnaire. Likewise, once the information has been collected, the information will be processed with the Microsoft Excel statistical program and then with SPSS version 26. The non-parametric chi square test will be used to find the hypothesis test that in turn will look for the relationship between the variables. of studies and finally the findings will be shown in graphs and tables.

Level of knowledge in handling cytostatics in the students of the second nursing specialty in oncology - 2021

Objective: To evaluate the level of knowledge in the handling of cytostatics in nursing students of the second specialty in oncology – 2021. Material and method: The research has a quantitative approach, non-experimental nature. The study design is descriptive and cross-sectional. The population consists of a total of 35 nursing professionals enrolled in the second specialty in oncology, which also makes up the sample. The survey technique was used, and the instrument will be a questionnaire developed by Sánchez Ticona Melissa Giovanna "Labor Factors and Level of Knowledge in the Handling of Cytostatics", which includes 18 items with structured questions about the knowledge of handling cytostatics. Its content validity was done, and it was submitted to expert judgment. Reliability was found by applying the Cronbach's alpha coefficient, obtaining a value of 0.67, which indicated excellent reliability according to the classification in the Kuder Richardson table. Data processing was done using the statistical package (SPSS) version 26.0, and also Excel 2019 was used, where the results will be presented in tables and/or graphs for further analysis and interpretation.

Long-term venous accesses such as the port a cath catheter in oncology patients are essential since there begins the administration of cytostatics and the ease for different laboratories since it can reduce the pain caused each time the patient must be punctured, helps to take care of the peripheral routes and to avoid constant catheterization, this port a cath catheter is for exclusive use of nursing, that is why said personnel must have the necessary and precise knowledge to provide the necessary care to provide quality care at all times; The objective of this study is to determine the "level of knowledge in management and care of port - a - cath catheter in second specialty students of oncology at Norbert Wiener University", this research is of quantitative approach, in terms of methodological design it is a descriptive research, the population will be made up of students of the second specialty. The technique to be used in the field work will be the survey, with which knowledge can be measured. A questionnaire of 25 closed questions will be used that consists of prevention, use and maintenance of the port-a-cath catheter.

Nivel de conocimiento sobre cuidados paliativos y actitudes del cuidador sobre cuidados paliativos en un hospital nacional Lima, 2025

Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento sobre cuidados paliativos y actitudes del cuidador primario sobre cuidados paliativos de un Nosocomio público nivel III-1, Lima el 2025. Metodología: Esta investigación adopta un enfoque cuantitativo y se basa en el método hipotético-deductivo. Se enmarca como una investigación de tipo aplicada, con un enfoque no experimental y de corte transversal, enfocándose en la identificación de correlaciones. La muestra estará constituida por 96 cuidadores primarios de pacientes oncológicos que reciben atención en el hospital mencionado. La técnica de recolección de datos será la encuesta. Los instrumentos de medición han sido validados previamente; se empleara un formulario para evaluar el nivel de conocimiento de los cuidadores según Carzola A. y Pacheco N. en el 2021, presentando una consistencia interna elevada (α = 0,89) según el Alpha de Cronbach, y otro formulario para valorar las actitudes de los cuidadores según Lopez M y Marroquin C. en el 2020, con un coeficiente de 0,78. Los datos recolectados serán tabulados y se realizarán las estadísticas necesarias, representándolos mediante tablas y gráficos cuando sea pertinente.
