The objective of this study was to analyze the relationship between self-esteem, psychological well-being, and life satisfaction in older adults from Tarapoto, San Martín, in 2025. A quantitative approach was employed with a non-experimental correlational design. The sample consisted of 175 participants from the Senior Adult Center of EsSalud Tarapoto. Regarding data collection, three validated instruments were used: the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSS), the Psychological Well-being Scale (BIEPS-A), and the Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS). The results obtained revealed positive and significant relationships between the study variables: self-esteem and psychological well-being (rho: .211; p = .005), self-esteem and life satisfaction (rho: .222; p = .003), and psychological well-being with life satisfaction (rho: .202; p = .007). However, although these relationships were statistically significant, their magnitude proved to be low, which denotes the intervention of other psychosocial elements that also influence the assessment of well-being in older adults. Consequently, it is concluded that, despite the relationship between self-esteem, psychological well-being, and life satisfaction, their impact is limited, which highlights the importance of considering other aspects in psychosocial intervention.
